Most of the folks who you're wondering about were banished in a mass-murdering of peaceful posters. Since that time things have changed and are much better, to the point where mods are digging through archives and allowign us to view these threads, but the damage has been done. MOst of the old-timer, famous posters have moved to private communities where individuals can administer and moderate boards, as opposed to individuals moderating on the behalf of much larger organizations.
I am... the poster formerly known as randocalrissian. I too joined a private group. Seen as elite, at least we are allowed to read all our own posts... and I am happy to see that this is increasingly the case here. Keep at it and the traffic and the good posters will return. |

This is SOOO weird, because I remember my very first time stopping at this board, and reading this thread!
I was just a wee little lurker, and I remember actually feeling sorry for vvicked. Nostalgia is cool
