Change the title of the thread to General Hospital and then we've got one awesome thread!
I watch GH on Soapnet, and tend to catch some of the other ABC soaps on there (OLTL, AMC, PC) but only occasionally. I LOVE GENERAL HOSPITAL THOUGH. My favorite characters are Carly and Jason (although not together). I like Liz too. Can't stand Courtney, especially not when she's whining about Jason. I'm about a week behind on my tape watching right now so I'm not sure what's happened lately. I read the spoilers page at General Hospital Happenings almost everyday. Looks like Sonny has to choose wether to have Carly take a pill that could save her life, but will kill the baby. I'm sure he picks Carly over the unborn baby, but what a tortured guy to lose yet another baby. |

Oh, man, I had no idea about Carly and the baby! I was thinking that somewhere down the road Carly's baby would need a transfusion or something and Alexis would make some deal with Carly where she'd tell her that she would help her, but only if she didn't tell Sonny. Then Carly would refuse her help because she would be afraid of finding out that the baby wasn't really Sonny's.
I watch Soapnet, too, and I usually manage to work in about 3 shows a week. Courtney has grown on me. I'm liking Liz with the new guy. |

Looks like baby Kristina won't be with Alexis anyway, even if Carly's baby needs a transplant....

Well, just because Sonny has to make a choice between Carly and the baby, doesn't necessarily mean they won't both survive. I'm sure its just another plot to make Sonny look like the tortured gangster that kills everyone around him.
As for Journey...GROSS. For some reason, when these two are on screen together, I just cringe. It makes my teeth rattle to see syrupy sweet Courtney over act and gush over Jason. Does it seem like Steve Burton (Jason) changes his acting style around Courtney? Like he freezes up and gets more rigid. I loved the chemistry he has with Brenda. I would like to see him with somebody that he can have the same chemistry with (say Liz?) I can only dream. |

first of all, if we're discussing spoilers (which you all were)
then, i got one for ya. Carly's baby is SONNY's. Ric did NOT sleep with her. he only told her that so he'd have leverage over her. the idiot. I hope it bites him in the butt. Carly will not lose the baby when she falls into the ice. A miracle will occur. Now, to my opinion. I like Jason with Courtney. he always seemed to be forcing it with the bitch (liz). However, as much as I hated her, Brenda and Jason had chemistry--not nearly the chemistry she and Sonny had though. Jax and Brenda were about as exciting as watching plants grow. |

I don't mind Courtney and Jason. Liz is a sanctamonious witch. I loves her with Luckey - back when Jonathan Jackson was playing him - the rape story was touching. But ever since the car accident when she turned all high and mighty, she's annoyed the heck outta me!
Brend and Jason were just hysterical together. The show where they told (very opposing) the details of their vags wedding had me laughing out loud. It was once said the Vanessa M has chemisty with with walls. Although she a Jax kinda fizzeled this time around. I want him back with Skye! I've always suspected the Ric lied about sleeping with Carly to blackmail her. |

I was wondering whether or not Rick actually slept with Carly. I only end up seeing about half of a typical week of shows and I didn't think it ever actually showed them doing it. I'm also way behind on my SODigest reading.
I have always hated Brenda with Jax. Hated!!!!!!!!!! I've never really cared for Jax but I wouldn't mind seeing him with Skye. Although I kind of like Skye and Coleman together, too. I like Rick with Liz. And I also like Jason and Courtney. What is Rick's connection with the Mafia woman? Are they related in some way? |

The powers the be have not renewed Coltin Scott's contract to play Nikolas Cassadine. They have actually chosen to let him loose before his contract runs out in June. Coltin actually wanted to re-sign, but those in charge didn't feel he "has what it take" to play the major scenes Nikolas has coming up. BUT HERES THE BIG PART -- he's being replaced by none other than TYLER CHRISTOPHER. The original Nikolas Cassadine. CAN YOU GUYS BELIEVE IT? |

I don't really like the new Gia, and the characters of Gia and Nikolas have been way too boreing since the whole father back from the deep freeze story line. It'll be interesting to see Tyler back though!

Ok .. I admit it.. I'm a die hard GH fan since as long as I can remember... I watch in spurts though lately
Some questions maybe you all can help me with: Is the girl who plays Courtney pregnant in real life? Who do you think this Summer/Laura chick really is? Age wise I'm not even sure where she could fit in. What is the story behind Rick Webber's death. I mean the last I remember was that he and Ginny and Mike went off to live happily every after. I missed the whole Laura breakdown thing so a quick recap would be nice. Thanks a lot - Ang |

As far as I know Alicia Leigh Willis (Courtney) is not pregnant. She does tend to stick out her midsection a lot though. If I had to guess, I'd say Summer is supposed to be late 20's. All I could find about her was that she's married with one kid in real life, she once appeared in playboy as Britney Rache, and she was born in Germany. Not one site lists her birthdate or age. She really looks odd with Lucky though doesn't she (at least Lucky #2). She hasn't had enough scenes with Lucky #3 for me to really have an opinion on them though. As for the Rick Webber storyline...from what I remember, Laura as the one who did it. Supposedly she freaked out and wolloped him on the head with somethin. Both Luke and Scotty figured it out and tried to cover for her. Luke claimed he did it, while Scotty tried to burn down the attic to cover it all up. In the end, Laura had a psychotic break and is now in a mental institution in a catatonic state somewhere in Europe (hence the departure of Genie Francis). Once this happened, the entire storyline was just sorta dropped. No more investigation, no more creepy flashbacks or visions of Laura as a little girl. Hope that helps. If you need any more about reason happenings, let me know. I haven't missed an episode in quite awhile (although I'm about 2 weeks behind on my tapes) |

just a bit more detail on what led to Laura's breakdown...
she started having weird memories of the apartment over the garage in the home where she grew up. She thought that Rick had killed a nurse that she had caught him in bed with up there. However, the truth is that Laura had killed the nurse. Rick and Scotty had then buried the body and Laura had forgotten (she did that after killing that guy too- what was his name. David Hamilton?) anyway, when Laura FINALLY remembered what really happened it made her go insane for some reason. Luke blames himself for trying to make her remember. Is anyone sick of Sonny? |

Regarding Summer/Laura...Did you see where Nicholas was meeting with her? Apparently he is paying her to distract or manipulate Luke. But he was giving her grief over her relationship with Lucky. I didn't see all of it but enough to know that she is working for Nicholas to do something to Luke. Also, I have thought all along that Luke and Scotty's reaction to her being practically Laura's twin was just goofy weird. I don't see it. They both have long blonde hair, but that's it. I don't see any resemblance whatsoever.

I agree. Laura was NEVER that pretty. she was always
a very normal looking girl/woman. Summer otoh looks like a beauty contest type. no resemblance whatsoever. I think both Luke and Scott are delusional. I was watching the show back when Luke wasn't even on it. Genie Francis and I are the same age. Back then, people told me I looked like a "redheaded Laura on GH". I did not resemble the gal that plays Summer, I can assure you!! |

These just in from General Hospital Happenings - The #1 GH Spoiler site...
Cameron tells Zander that his brother, Pete, committed suicide. I knew it! I don't understand though...wouldn't Zander know this since he witnessed it, rather than Cameron? Maybe Cameron found a note or something. Skye may soon find out she is not a Q! this wouldn't really shock me, but i also don't know the story about how Skye is a Q to begin with. Alexis makes the decion to return Kristina to the Q's. what is she thinking? is she nuts? oh yeah, she is. Coleman is the key to Carly finding out what happened between her and Ric. I wondered where Coleman has been...hes become one of my favorites. What do you guys think about these? |

I think that it would make a lot of sense if Pete had committed suicide. It might explain Cameron's guilt about Zander because I always got the feeling that Cameron blamed himself. This could explain a lot.
If Skye's not a Q then she could hook up with AJ since I think that's the only character she has any chemistry with anyway. I don't really enjoy the whole Kristina storyline anyway so  .Coleman.. yep he always has a way of showing up. Stupid thought for fodder but did I hear Summer mention something about a sister a few episodes back. We know Emily's parents are both dead but what if Summer were a half sister or something. Just a thought... Oh and so far I like this Emily recast (forget actress' name). Just my thoughts.. Angela |

Heres a little more thought for fodder on the subject of Summer - keep in mind I'm about a week behind in the show (tapes galore) so maybe this has been revealed and I just don't know it -
From GHH2: Summer agrees to seduce Luke so Nik can hold up his end of the deal and find her brother. So this is what her goal was all along. She would get Luke off Nikolas's back for him by seducing him, while he in exchange would find her brother. Of course she didn't plan on falling for Lucky in the meantime. Now who would be eligible to be her brother. Couldn't be Zander (his dad woulda mentioned a sister by now), couldn't be Nik or Lucky (then again, summer does closely resemble Laura Spencer)...Maybe it could be Ric cuz we dont' know much about his past, or what about Jax, long lost sister that the parents didn't own up to. What other guys are there that aren't Q's ?(i'm not even gonna suggest shes another long lost quartermaine, cuz that's just going too far). Hmm....food for thought anyway. Gonna go check out the spoilers some more for any other info I can find. |
