Oh, I'd much rather have the NUPhil than have the old one. I don't mind Philip anymore but when Jay played him I hated the character, he was way too clingy on Chloe.

I agree Danny, the new phil is MUCH better.
I went and grabbed this from the old thread Quote: danny, even if it's Andre' who dies, Thaao is still fired. whimper... I love the idea that Marlena is the killer. I want it to be Shawn D, but Marlena would also work. I agree that the eyes most likely belong to an extra, and I think it's a copout to do that. They should have already chosen the killer, and should use him/her in disguise to do the killing scenes. That would give us a chance to figure it out!! |

I haven't watched DOOL since the mid-eighties when Patch Johnson was on. I loved the romance between him and Kayla, but the show took a bizarre turn and I stopped (very hard since daytime soaps are like cigarettes), but I went cold turkey.

What is everyone's fave storyline from DAYS.
Mine was the whole Aremid Storyline; 1. Tony (Andre) learning he's dying so he kills himself and sets John up. John is arrested and is sentenced to death thanks to his girlfriend Kristen's testmony. John admits his feelings for Marlena in a letter which Kristen later finds. John goes to the death chamber but is saved in the nick of time. This then begins the HUGE Kristen/John/Marlena love triangle. 2. The Lady in White who was really Peter & Kristen's mother. Jennifer thought that The Lady in White was trying to kill her. Jennifer/Jack/Peter love triangle was heating up. Jack was convinced that Peter was working with Jude St Clair. 3. Jude St Clair was living up in the mountains in Aremid. Bo & Hope went skiing and Hope got buried alive in the avalance. Everyone told Bo that their was no way Hope survived. Jude finds Hope and holds her hostage until Peter kills Jude. 4. Lexie continues to find out about who her father is and finally learns that her father is none other than Stefano Dimera. That was my fave storyline since I've watched DAYS. I also really liked "The Cruise of Deception" storyline too. I really like when DAYS does these storylines like "The Cruise Of Decepition", "Marlena's Possessed", "Aremid", Kristen's Faked Pregnancy, and now "The Salem Stalker" |

It didn't help that the character of Jen was being played at the time by Stephanie Cameron, a total piece of shit. She was a model with no prior acting experience, and it showed. |

I LOVED the Aremid storyline.
My favorites were: Marlena's possession AREMID (and all the stories contained within - Danny listed them all). Kristen's faked pregnancy I used to love the Lucas/Sami want Carrie/Austin storyline, until I realized it would stretch for years; they were going to make Austin dumb enough to stick with Sami and push Carrie into Mike's arms; make Sami dumb enough to push Brandon away. I may be in the minority but I liked Mark Valley as Jack, especially when it was time to be serious. I can't imagine the original Jack being able to do AREMID. Stephanie Cameron was a sucky Jennifer. She was too tall. Loved Jaime Lyn Bauer's LAURA HORTON. |

This was the most retarded scene I have ever seen.....
Rex sneaks up behind Marlena with a chain wrapped around his hands. He puts the chain around her neck as if to strangle her... Marlena: "Rex!! Why did you put that chain around my neck?!" Rex: "I just wanted to measure it for a neclace I want to buy you." Give me a fucking break.

I heard Suzanne's contract has that she must be paid for 2 days for the week. So in otherwords she must be on for 2 episodes. And If she isn't she still gets paid.
A lot of people who went to the showing of the Nov 4th & 5th episodes are saying that Suzanne is a shoe in to win an emmy for supporting actress. |
