This week was one of the most boring weeks on Idol. I guess I don't fancy myself a fan of the blues or jazz.

Gina wasn't "robbed" - she got what she got. She made a terrible song choice for herself. The fact is, if she'd put together a fanbase singing that kind of stuff, she'd probably still be here. Either her fanbase didn't care for the change in style (and she looked more PTA than ever in that get-up - she would have been perfect to play the Mom in Harper Valley P.T.A.) or no new fans were won over, or possibly both.
May as well get used to the idea that AI isn't ONLY about singing. Gina's package felt off more weeks than it felt right, and I liked her and wanted to see her do better than this. But, c'est la vie. |

Jordin/Haley/Gina share the same type of fans I think in terms of who likes which girls and Haley might take some heat for outlasting Gina. I think Jordin will get a boost, Sanjaya from those that are just pissed off and maybe Blake/Chris. |
