Sucks thats Janice is leaving. I still have hope, though. Who knows, Twiggy could be the best damn thing this show ever had. I know, that won't happen, but still...

I knew it was going to happen. You could tell that she was extremely put off by Tyra's bullshit + casting in season 3. I hope some network offers her a show. I'd rather watch that.

For honesty, they really should stick Jay Manuel in there. Since Season 1, he's really been the guy giving the girls the most truthful and useful advice.
Miss Jay... well, he's better at the rolling eyes, wise cracks, and such dramatic entertainment. They compliment each other, really. But Twiggy? I guess I'll have to see what she brings to the table judge-wise. I'd dump Nole and that photographer guy, bring in both Jays, and have two guest judges each week (since there's usually two tasks). That'd make 5. Having those two guest judges could help overturn the votes easier than when it's 4 against 1. At 3 against 2, one of the three core judges can get their way if both guest judges agree. Although I suppose the 3 could still select their winning from day one and ride that pony to the end, rendering even two guest judges impotent. |

Yeah, I say that Janice leaving is a good hint that it's time to kill the show. She was one of the best reasons to watch!
Though J. Alexander is better than other Jay, he's still not my favorite. And Twiggy?! No matter who they bring in for judges though, it really doesn't matter. It's all about who Tyra likes and who brings the drama, and that's it. Really, the saddest thing is that the show averages about 5 million viewers per week and it's UPN's best performing show!

Jay Manuel is a vile, repulsive excuse for a human being and an embaressment to Canada. He trods out needless insults (like disbelieving Kelle won the pose off competition) and sabotaged mAnn. He even took a shot at Nicole in season 1, just cuz Nicole didn't want to be part of the group who modeled for socialites as part of Elyse's prize.
Why Tyra gives him more and more responsibility and prominence is beyond me, but if there is a God above, surely Jay will soon catwalk right off Miss Tyra's show. |

I can't remember where I heard it from but he used to model in Japan in the mid 80s.

Have you seen Janice's E! True Hollywood story? I think she's due for a new husband. It's been what, 15 minutes? Is there ANYONE she hasn't married?
That being said, I'll miss the old bat. She's a hoot. How will we keep up with her plastic surgeries? I think she's just tired of being a second or third banana. The chick's a STAR! |
