During the final episode, the good Jay said that Nicole out of all the other girls wanted the title the most and expected to win. Loser boyfriend and the bad Jay did her in. Had Adrienne not returned from the hospital, maybe Nicole would of put on her game face the next day.

Keenyah had no one to blame for her loss than herself. She ate and ate and ate herself out of first place.
Nicole, cycle 1, had no one to blame for her loss except herself. She wanted to be with her insecure, loser boyfriend more than she wanted to win. Plus her boobs looked fake. I'm not sure they were fake, but they looked fake. Adrienne's tatas were real and fabulous! |

Nicole? No way in hell are these real.
 I'm no expert on these matters the way that someone like Screerider is...but aside from Nicole and Bethany from season 2, I've never suspected that any of the other contestants have had implants. Maybe Kelle - but I wouldn't be surprised if hers were real. |

Janice is leaving?? ugh, well they had really better do an amazing job of casting this season then, because Janice was one of the few remaining reasons to watch.
The only good news is that Nole is most likely gone. Good riddence to him. |

The loudmouth supermodel and author has left the UPN reality show and will be replaced by Twiggy Lawson on the upcoming fifth season. "We would like to thank Janice for bringing her talents to the show and for everything she did to help us build `America's Next Top Model' into its current success," executive producer Ken Mok said in a statement Thursday. "We wish her well in all of her future endeavors." Dickinson, author of "No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel" and "Everything About Me Is Fake ... and I'm Perfect," was the most outspoken member of the model hunt's judging panel, dishing harsher-than-harsh critiques to contestants and getting into spats with fellow judges since the first season. Also gone as a judge is stylist Nole Marin. He'll be replaced by runway expert J. Alexander, a former male model who's taught catwalk technique and guest judged in previous seasons or "cycles," the show's term for each installment. Lawson rose to fame in the 1960s with her doe eyes and pixie hairdo, appearing on the covers of magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, McCall's, Seventeen and Newsweek. Dickinson will star in the next season of VH1's "The Surreal Life" with the likes of Jose Canseco and Bronson Pinchot. According to UPN, Dickinson also has a television production deal and is working on a new book. |

Losing Janice is a bummer. ITA that she was one of the best things about the show. Although it was clear she was bored and pretty skeptical of the whole show. I'm sure she asked for big bucks to continue on something she has such derision for. I guess Tyra wasn't willing to cough that up.
Nole won't be missed - at least by me. Although I enjoyed his Javier look, other than that he didn't add much to the show. I have no idea what Twiggy's personality is like - I'm only familar with her pictures. I didn't even know she was British until I read that. I guess it remains to be seen if she will be a good fit. |

I would think that Twiggy will be less prejudicial towards shorter women. I think she is only around 5'6".
As for Janice, in the old thread I posted an overheard conversation where she was complaining because she was cast as the bitch and she delivered and she was grateful for the opportunity but angry. We all thought it was from Surreal Life, but I guess it was this show. |

Janice made this show watchable. It may have started out as a model search but it has degenerated into God only knows what. I will probably still watch, just for the BBish type entertainment but I certainly, will never again take it seriously as a "model" search.

I just talked to a friend about this. We're both thrilled that Nole is gone, but we will miss Janice!!
My friend lived in London for awhile and said Twiggy has a pretty good sense of humor, and that she was in the last season of AbFab playing a former model and was making fun of herself as a model. So who knows...noone can match Janice, so it would be stupid to even try. I think Miss J will be a good judge. |

Agreeance re: Elyse. She was the hands down winner of the 1st cycle and from there it all went downhill rather quickly. And no, I don't believe that Janice kept the show real as a modeling competition, although she did offer some insightful comments and advise. Her main contribution to the show was one of humour, she provided some pretty funny comments and some knock down drag out funny moments (the passion display with Tyra leaps to mind).

I agree Janice will be missed. She added some much needed color to the show. However, I doubt her star will get much brighter after dumping this show.
Nole was better on the show when he wasn't on the judging panel. He provided one the best quotes in ANTM history re Xiomara "She looked like a walrus in chiffon." He got too stale and stuffy once they legitimized his shtick. |

I think that she was probably pretty frustrated with the "Tyra" show and the fact that the models were not at all what she considered model material. Her model picks never went on to win. |
