The Matty vote was unnecessary and really sort of stupid. It didn't change anything, but it may have made some enemies.

However, Ken has played an at least solid social game (he gets rid of Matty and he wins), and he didn't really have much choice about his tribe, so you can't put the challenge losing against him, especially since he wanted to keep Michelle, who would have helped with the challenges. Vecepia won the same number of pre-merge immunities, and yet she still won.

Parvati did play a solid game. However, she would have lost had Chet and Kathy not failed so miserably (moreso Chet. That vote goes the other way and its good game to the couples alliance), and Jonathan getting medvac helped her a ton. She may have been a solid player, but her season was strategically really, really weak. However, its also hard to credit her with anything given that she took a favorites spot that should have gone to someone who deserved the spot, and not a wild card player. It seems that generally, when returning to the game, players who played well the first time around play much worse (lex, kathy, ami, yau), but players who did badly play much, much better games (boston rob, amber, parvati). Cirie and Amanda are exceptions, but otherwise this holds fairly true.

I'm sticking Bob at the bottom of my list. Guys like him in past seasons have gotten eaten alive (Greg, Gabe, etc), he just lucked out that he was the last Kota standing and that the Fang players were stupid enough to let him get to the end.
