Strategy ...

1. J.T. - Played as close to a flawless game as you can get. True, he had a lot of help from Timbira, but who knows what he would have been able to do in a situation where he had a rational tribe? He made the most of his situation. The biggest strategic flaws he had were minor compared to some other winners (knocking out Erinn in the coconut chop challenge, taking Stephen on the reward). He had it all; social, strategic, physical. His social game was probably the strongest out of any survivor ever.
2. Brian - Dominated the whole game, almost a flawless game ... flawed in that he gave SJ the opportunity to pull Ted over.
3. Tina - Control most of the way. I still think some decisions she made (voting out Jerri) were bad, but she read her players.
4. Danni - Great comeback winner, played an awesome observation and execute game.
5. Richard - Pioneered the game. I might put him lower, because I think a lot of people forget that he was unaware of all the power Sue and Kelly really possessed.
6. Yul - Lots of luck, but maximized every situation. Created a situation where he couldn't be voted out.
7. Parvati - Played masterfully and had allies left, right, and central. Had a lot of luck though, which IMO was more extreme than the other winner who had a lot of luck.
8. Chris - Made an enormous strategic blunder, but played flawlessly at almost every other point in the game. I might even put him lower because voting out Kenny was a huge mistake.
9. Amber - Vastly underrated, never really left control, and saved herself at a key point.
10. Todd - He is another that played a great first half, but by the end he seemed oblivious to the fact that Amanda and Denise were running through other options.
11. Earl - Not impressed, and he was trumped strategically by Cassanda and Dreamz.
12. Jenna - She did a great job the first half of the game, but again got too complacent, and had little to no control from final 7 onwards.
13. Vecepia - Eh, she made some good moves, but wasn't near the thinker that Kathy and Sean were.
14. Tom - There was nothing all that impressive. He put an enormous target on himself, didn't have to play until the merge, where he didn't even have much power.
15. Sandra - At least she played the game for herself, but got far too complacent. Did a good job scrambling though.
16. Bob - He road coattails to the max for most of the game, but at least when he needed to pick it up, he did a bit. Even though Sugar played the game for him.
17. Ethan - Played an impeccable social game, but terrible strategist.
18. Aras - Just clueless all around.


Bob, Ethan, and Aras are leagues below the other 15. And are fairly interchangeable.

How is Amber the best personality wise and in the top half of stratagists. Todd is LIGHTYEARS better than Amber at strategy, and Amber was just plain suckish.

Personality is subjective, genius. It varies from person to person.

Todd lost all control in the end-game. Amanda and Denise had all the control, were actually considering taking him out multiple times, and he had no idea. Amber had control the whole way except for an unlucky twist in which she pulled herself out of. She also played a superior social game and created the social ties needed to keep Romber afloat.

Uh, voting out John K wasn't a giant strategic mistake for Chris. How is Chris supposed to believe JK's crap about "I'll never turn on you guys" when he's trying to do just that in the same round, AND trying to get Chris to HELP by turning with him?

So its better for him to believe two people he just met, one of whom has nothing in common at all with any of the Lopevi men?

All Chris had to do was tell John that they had to vote out Julie, and he's not the type of player to fight it.
