Life is hard in the Kalahari.

I didn't realize the Meerkat Manor: The Story Begins used other Meerkats and that 8 different meerkats played Flower. It was a cute story but I thought it
was going to be old archive footage mixed with some new establishing shots.

The filming did not start till later in Flowers life, sigh.... It would of been wonderful to see her as a pup! There is a book about Flowers life, it is called Meerkat Manor.... Flower Of the Kalahari by Tim Clutton Brock. |

I just re-watched the episode where Flower dies.
Yup. Still makes me cry like a baby.

I preferred Sean Astin doing the narration. I love me some Stockard Channing but she just doesn't give off the same feel.
