Yeah, I know it's been off the air for years, but I know we have lots of threads started for shows no longer on the air. BBC America shows repeats of this every Friday night and I still find these episodes hilarious all these years later. The whole cast of characters were brilliant...Eddie, Patsy, Gram, Bubble, Saff, Bo (that Mo Gaffney creation), etc.

There have to be other Sucksters who enjoy this show too....right?? Discuss.

I love the New Year episode, where Pats' older sister Jackie visits. When Jackie tells Pats that she's 72, and Pats about faints and asks herself "oh God, how old does that make ME?" I laughed my ass off. The eppy where Pats and Eddie go to the supermarket is hilarious, too. Thanks for the heads-up that it's running on Fridays on BBC -- I have the DVR set!

The eppy where Pats and Eddie go to the supermarket is hilarious, too.

My very favorite episode, "Poor". Her ex husbands cut her off. She walks into the grocery store and is all "hello? hello???".

Last night's episode was the one where Edwina wanted to get thin and gorgeous and she had a dream she had lipo and had her lips done...and the lips kept growing and practically took over her face.

Same episode she says "Inside of me is a thin person dying to get out" followed by her mom's deadpan "Just the one, dear?".

"Poor" has to be my favorite all-time eppy as well. Love it when Eddy and Pats wind up in court for drunk driving and Eddy goes into a "why not have a stupidity tax, just tax the stupid people!" rant.

Another highlight is where Patsy screaming "Bring me a knitting needle!" at Saffie, who then slaps her, and Pats recoils and gives out a huge horse whiney.

This is one of my favorites, too! I can still see Patsy sitting at Eddy's table in the kitchen with her hair still smokin' and ciggy in her mouth!

I have seen "Poor" so many times and I still crack up...when she's meeting with her attorney and he says and there is the matter of your businesses and he does the air quotes and she's all flustered, "What's that? Whatcha doing there?"

I tried to find a pic of Pats waking up after setting the kitchen on fire, but I can't seem to find one.

I love the one where Patsy gets a chemical peel and ends up with a red shiny scabby face. And the one where Edwina has Bubbles adopt a Rumanian baby to get back at Saffy for not inviting her to her college presentation.

The only episode that wasn't released in R1 was the special around Christmas 2004 called White Box, but it's finally being released on Oct. 16.
so YAY! My collection will finally be complete!

I love this show so much.

I can watch Patsy falling into the grave hole over & over. Wish I had an animation of that on a continuous loop.

"Poor" was one of the best written comedy shows ever! British or American. How can anyone not laugh at Edina saying Hello when she enters the supermarket or telling Patsy to grab a trolley? The whole bit about parking the car on the sidewalk and then discovering the tire clamp. "Is this the car clamp club?" A true riot!
