I still think Lauren quit because she was told Kristen would be on the new season. Lauren seems so phony to me. She always says the "right" thing and covers up how she really feels. Lauren thinks she always knows and does the right thing, and everybody else is beneath her, yet she is always fighting with somebody, and hates all her friends boyfriends, and acts like she's so perfect but dates losers and is really very needy.

She obviously has no beef with either Heidi or Spencer and they wanted her there. Ya think? Also, Lauren and Kristin wearing dresses of the same royal blue color. Obviously planned. This show is cast, staged and improvised, just like the "Housewives of" series. I do feel bad for Spencer and Heidi - their debut in reality tv left them ill prepared for their current venture. Okay, I don't really feel bad.

It was originally funded by MTV but they withdrew their financial support when sales tapered off dramatically. Lauren now has a "celeb" line for Kohls much in the vein of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's tween collections of years past.

Well, it is pretty naive of Lauren to think she could start her fashion design career right out the gate pricing her dresses at $250. She's no Diane von Furstenburg. The Kohl's fashion line is more realistic as far as any fashion impact Lauren going to have in women's wear. And the dresses are just blah. That dress with the slouchy pockets has no design or structure at all. I don't think it would seel for more than $14.99 at Target.

I'd agree with this. I'm sure Lauren's not thrilled about the show continuing. But she self-censored a lot after the whole sex tape drama went down. And producers constantly put her in a position deal with Speidi when she just wanted to move on - like any normal person would with their enemies. Probably won't help her career but may help with her sanity. I thought Kristen and Lauren friends or something now? Kristen was at all of Lauren's fashion shows a year ago and said that they get along pretty well. Those clips of them in the finale are pretty nicely edited to create drama, given that context.
