Need a appetizer! For a cookout this weekend. Something that does not need heat or refrideration would be good.
I might just buy some tomato pie though. I dunno. |

no ideas - my brain's not functioning - I haven't slept since 4:30 am yesterday 'cause I took my husband to the emergency room last night and we
didn't get out of there until 8am today

intense stomach cramping, really low temperature and couldn't even stand up straight - the doc thinks it's a combination of diverticulosis, irritated
upper pancreas (infected possibly) and possibly some bug - they did the whole cat scan thing
I was worried he was having a series of small heart attacks - he was worried he had cancer - he finally let me drag him to a doctor, even though it was an ER doc (cute). they also ran two IVs into him 'cause he was so dehydrated and his temp was 96.7. I'm tired - he's home sleeping, but I had to finish something at work and joy of joys he's considering going to see an intestinal/GI doctor. |

That sucks cbr. Go home and go to sleep! Old people shouldn't be up this long!
I have some pastry cups in the pantry. Maybe I'll just throw some goat cheese, figs and honey into those and call it a day. I'll have to use her oven but tough shit. |

Ok, so the cookout has turned into a hurricane party.
Can anyone think of any cajun kind of apps? And no. Old bay is still NOT cajun. |
