Would you do what she did? If you were in a blah marriage and your kids were older, would you let the love of your life slip away to remain in your marriage?

I'm watching The Bridges of Madison County right now, so that's what inspired this question.

I'm straight, and therefore did not view this film.

I'd remain in the marriage, most likely. Divorce really complicates life even if kids are grown.

I always feel like your posts are missing lots of back story.

That movie has Meryl Streep in it, therefore it's one of the most over rated, boring movies ever.

I might leave my marriage under those circumstances, but I wouldn't portray it as something wonderful and romantic.

I like to think that I would decide whether I wanted to stay in the marriage or not BEFORE having sex with the other guy, and then not do the nasty if I was
staying with my husband.

This is the saddest movie ever. I would not stay married if I found someone else that was my soul mate. However, my husband should already be my soul mate
right? So I would never have this dilemma.
