I have no idea how you can be proud of how you played the game, if anything you dragged a show that many of us love to the bottom of the barrel. I think you need to ask yourself this question, how would you feel if someone spoke to your kids the way you've spoken to other people? would you let their significant others get away with it? or would you open your mouth and tell their significant others off? Most parents would do the latter rightfully so, but if you did it wouldn't that be hypocritical?

As an unapologetic liberal I'm ashamed that you share my world viewpoint, you can't show compassion and disgust on 1 hand at those in the world who are oppressed or suffering the ramifications of war, and on the other hand cause so much hurt to others.
