I don't get why Izzy is going in for surgery and none of her "friends" are there except Alex. What a bunch of dicks they are. I wondered that too, but I assumed that it was kind of a last minute thing. It wasn't a scheduled surgery, just that the results of Izzy's tests were so good that Bailey and Izzy just decided to go and remove the last of the cancer while they could... |

The tests were actually bad.... new cancers blah blah.... but Bailey went ahead and did the surgery to remove what she could anyway

I half expected Denny to come back for 1 more episode. He'll probably come back to take Izzy home to Jesus only change his mind & tell her she can
live after all.

I could be very wrong on this, but I thought Cristina's folks were loaded and that's how she can afford her rent. I thought that the residents
didn't make very much money until later in their careers.... even though I would think Callie would be at that point by now... and that's why all of
the residents live together at Meredith's, or have always had roommates.

Most residents are still buried in student loans. They won't make the big bucks until their attendings.
Callie not being able to afford rent is a little silly though. Being from a rich family, she surely must have possessions from said family that she could sell if she needed to. Plus, she used to live in the hospital basement, surely she saved some money from then.... Can someone please give the actor who plays Denny a job so he isn't coming back to Grey's all the time?!?!? Talk about overstaying your welcome! |

Although, the writers on this show don't have a problem pushing the bounds of believability far past the limits. I loved the original Denny storyline back in season 2(?) when the show was still good. Denny the ghost was annoying. If he is going to be a ghost the only acceptable place for him right now is helping Dean in the coming apocalypse on Supernatural. |

Shonda twittered a few days ago that residents make $27,000 a year. That's not much at all so it's possible she'd have trouble paying rent.
Everyone else seems to live at Meredith's house.

Here's a job opening in boston http://www.jobs-salary.co...-salary-at-boston-ma.htm that is offering 53 grand Someone who is single with no kids would have no problem surviving on that even with large student loans. |
