Yeah, I don't think they're both dead. George looked like he was already on the other side, especially in his soldier uniform. Izzie was kind of
holding back in the elevator.
Or maybe it's just a really good way to buy time to figure out what to do about TRK and KH.

In the time that Merder were writing their vows, they could have called a justice of the peace and ask them to meet at the hospital. Do they really need to go
to city hall?
I almost didn't recognize George with the buzz cut, it's definitely an improvement. I agree that odds are one of them survives, most likely Izzie. |

Yah they've set it up so they can go either way... considering all the rumors that they both would leave, it's hard to know what is going to happen, If it's not both I figure George is a goner... even though I knew it was George, when Mer figured out 007 I screamed with her

George was a gonner for sure, he was there greeting Izzie at 'heaven.' However, Izzie looked really hesitant to join him so I don't count her out
for being dead yet.
Omg the most intense shit ever. When George was doing the 007 stuff I was like freaking out. oh my god. I can't handle it |

I clearly wasn't paying attention. I didn't realize it was George until I saw how much he was reaching out for Meredith.
Anyway, lame finale (even some scenes with Christina/Owen and Bailey were way too cheesy) - we all could have predicted some cliffhanger like this due to these two actors being so public about their contract/relationship with the show. And we'll probably know over the summer which one dies for sure or if it's both. I agree though that TR is a goner. |

yeah i think if anyone's "coming back", it's def. Izzie since there's no use for George on the show anymore anyway. He got more
screentime in this episode then the whole season combined.

I think George is dead. They didn't even bother to give him a big acting scene, they just had him lie there for his final scenes--that (to me) tells that
aren't even bothering to invest much in his character.
The Izzy-Alex relationship on the other hand seemed to indicate a new storyline for both of them. Even if KH doesn't come back full time, she can always marry Alex off screen and come onto the show as a recurring character just not as a surgeon anymore. |

I knew it would be George because I read the spoilers and that was the general consensus. I think they'll end up killing him off, and saving Izzie.
(I'd prefer it be the other way around personally.) Pretty happy with the Owen and Cristina scenes. <3!

I think Izzy lives and George dies, Izzy didn't get out of the elevator while george was already there waiting for her.

I predict that if Izzie is saved, she's still leaving the show. She's going to feel betrayed that everyone ignored her DNR request, divorce Alex, leave the hospital, and move far, far away to "start her life over again". |

I think when a trauma like that comes in, doctors are very focused and worrying what the person looks like really doesn't come into play... also when
someone is that bad off, you aren't expecting it to be someone you know so you don't see it

Lol, I was really off the ball tonight. I really was obvious it was George, and at one point I was thinking it'll be someone they know, then... I don't
know what I was thinking, how embarrassing (usually I'm good with twists like that). Although, ignorance is bliss sometimes, since I almost gasped like
Meredith when it was revealed (everyone else was probably rolling their eyes at how predictable it was).
But he is probably dead... and Izzy seems to still have a shot. It was very nicely done, the whole elevator thing. |

I totally forgot about George so when Meredith finally said it was George I was like WHATTTTT. I was totally thinking it was Meredith's dad and that the
creepy girl at the hospital with him was trying to kill him after she originally pushed him. Then I thought the 007 meant they were secret agents hired to kill
each other. :o
