I think the only reason why fan feel like Carter going to take over the show is that TPTB is trying to get SG 1 fans to watch Atlantis.

Why was she telling Rodney to drop the shields on Atlantis after they landed? She's technically not in charge yet so it seemed a bit out of place to me.Probably because she is the highest ranking military officer on Atlantis. Someone has to be in charge. And we all know it's going to be her. Lifeline was meh....it could have been better. Ronon was annoying me with his impatience with Rodney. He needs to shut the fuck up. McKay has saved his ass many times. He needs to let McKay do his thing.

Well this episode was just mediocre for me. I'm not feeling the Carter love. I think it was kind of stupid for her to be throwing around things that they
can't do right now (like go for Weir) because Atlantis is still being fixed up and IOA don't want them to do this or that and then SHE goes on the
rescue mission instead of sending another team. She is the new leader, she just got there and Atlantis is still apparently in a bit of trouble after their
trip into space and she leaves to go on the rescue mission??? It just seemed stupid to me. This is only the third episode, second if you count the fact that
the second episode was a continuation of the first, and she already saved Sheppard and his team TWICE. It's good to know that if she wasn't around the
Atlantis team would be dead. Thank god for Carter. I guess she really IS saving the series since without her they would have been dead both times.
And the new doctor is way to young for the position that she is in and she always has the stupidest expression on her face. I'm not enjoying this season as much as I should be. |

So it looks like John is going to be the father in the Teyla pregnancy story line. Does anyone know in what episode her pregnancy will be revealed?

Above is a link to the wikipedia entry on Teyla. At the bottom of the page is: Due to the real-life pregnancy of Rachel Luttrell, who plays Teyla, Season 4 of Stargate Atlantis is set to include a pregnancy for Teyla as a character. The father's identity is currently unknown. Also slated for Teyla in Season 4 is a character arc relating to her people, and which will develop a darker, more complicated side to her. |

Hey we gots titles now? | ||

I'm a bit confused on the Stargate working on a new planet, after traveling through hyperspace. You'd think its address would be lost, but perhaps the
database is resiliant enough to determine that a Gate disappearing here, and a Gate reappearing here some time later must be the same Gate?

Tonight's episode synopsis:
Travelers 4x05 Every time I hear anything this episode they keep talking about this 'beautiful' and 'sexy' leader of this ship so I guess that means this is going to be an episode where Sheppard gets some loving. Blah. |

Each gate has it's own unique address. The address for the gate on Atlantis is actually for city itself, not the planet it is on. With Atlantis being a ship that would make sense because they could travel anywhere. Or maybe all they had to do was establish a wormhole with another gate ( like earth ) and now they were back in the gate system. |

New episode tonight. 4x06:

Well another new episode tonight. I guess we will find out what Dr. Keller wanted to tell Teyla at the end of last weeks episode. I'm sure anyone who
keeps up with this show won't be surprised as to what the reveal is going to be but it will be interesting to see how they explain it and what they will do
about it. Should be a good episode.

Has the last two weeks episode had been pretty good? I have tape them but haven't watched them yet. I was surprised that I liked Tabula Rasa. The editing
was a lot similar to last season's Sunday episode.

Regarding the last two episodes, I really enjoyed Missing, which just focused on Teyla and Keller, it really had a good plotline. I thought The Seer was good in its own way, it was suspenseful at times, but not as good as Missing. |

I loved this episode! I just love the interactions between Meredith and his sister. It's goo to see this side or Rodney. I thought the inclusion of Ronin being brought to earth was a bit far fetched. There wasn't much he could do and there are plenty of earth military that could point guns and break down doors. And I loved seeing Walter (the chevron guy) again. His scene with Ronin did make Ronin's trip to earth worthwhile. |
