I thought it was great too. Haven't seen an ep in a while and this one delivered. I couldn't believe they got him to die in order to feed the wraith.
That was what my DAMN was for. Going to have to start watching the other eps now for sure.

I'm really looking forward to next week's episode with Weir and the replicators back. Should be a good one before the Christmas break.
I enjoyed this last episode, Rodney was far less whiny that usual, which is a good thing in my opinion. Emailing his sister top-secret Stargate stuff was a little odd, it's so easy to hack even with encryption. I would have preferred that the guy volunteered his own life to the wraith rather than Sheppard guilt tripping him into it though. That just seemed a little off to me. I like how Sheppard and Ronon had to change their clothes so they didn't stand out and so they put on suits and didn't button up the shirt or tuck them in, ya that looked professional, not at all obvious. And why were they going through all that paper work? Don't the people with all the advance alien technology and such have computers they can put all their info into? Loved the Edmonton Mall reference, it really is a HUGE mall with rides and waterparks and ice-rinks and sea-lions and shopping too! |

I watched both last weeks and this week episode. I do agree that last week episode seemed a little off. I love the interaction between McKay and his sister.
Every time I saw the dad, I keep yelling it's Rex from Desperate Housewives. I did like this week episode. It was nice that they mention Carson.

Here is two promo for the second half of Season 4. The first promo looks like stuff we has seen so far. The second promo is stuff from the second part of the
season.

I've never really watched either Stargate show. I've been binging on both since around Thanksgiving. I like both shows quite a bit.
I like Weir, McKay, Sheppard, the whole bit. I think the only bad character on Atlantis is Ronan. The dude he replaced was even worse. |

Well the second half of the season started on Friday and I thought it was great. So much happened and the CGI wasn't too bad either. I'm really
interested in what they are going to do with Weir. She has been more exciting this season than in any of the other seasons combined. I'm still hating
Carter though. I just can't accept her on Atlantis. Ronan is okay. He doesn't usually get very many lines but they have been expanding his character
a bit more this season. I look forward to next season when the rumor is that he cuts off his dreads. Could be an interesting change for him.

The more I watch the better Ronan gets. I'm not saying he's a great character - but he isn't the piece of cardboard he was in most of the stuff I
saw at first.
Like I said, I was getting quite addicted to these shows - I decided to go all in and purchased the entire 10 seasons of the SG-1 series. I'm totally absorbed and am days behind on my TiVo now. The most disturbing thing? Why did the Daniel Jackson actor do that to his body? I the first couple of seasons he's the beautiful, well proportioned man. By the last season he looks like a gorilla and cannot rest his arms against his body because he's bulked up so much. To all the men out there - you DON'T look good when you do that!!!! Stick with the body god gave you and get IT into the best possible shape. Now, if we can just put his short hair cut on his original body - all would be right with the world. |

I think the change in Daniel Jackson's body fit into the story. His character was part of a team where a high level of self-sufficiency was needed. They
were constantly putting themselves in unknown situations where, often, brains alone would not get them out of any predicament. Would it have really been good
to hear him say "Hey, I'm the language expert. I expect Teal'c to be my brawn."
I actually think it would have been more fitting for him to have been more muscular from the beginning. After spending a year on Abydos, living a much more physical lifestyle than he had on Earth, his body should have been more in shape. |

Last night episode was a decent filler show. It wasn't the best one but it had some great lines from both Sheppard and McKay. Plus it had this wonderful
painting:

Ugh ... I actually almost couldn't watch it, it was so painfully bad. As if a "Rodney-centric" show isn't bad enough, they had to add an
annoying child to the mix. And where the hell was everyone else? I hate these types of episodes - in fact, it would make me really happy if they would kill
off Rodney, period.

I didn't care much for the episode either, but given how strong the season has been, I can't blamd them for a bad filler episode every once in a while.
The painting was a great pay off though.

I personally don't mind Rodney but there is other characters on the show. |

I like the little girl, even though she played Harmony the same as she did little Adria on SG-1.

Bad filler? "Harmony" was one of the funniest SGA episodes I've seen.
Great lines: Harmony: "I'm burning your face into my memory so I can describe you perfectly to the bounty hunters" Rodney to Sheppard: "I've still got the unner-stay" and that painting at the end. Hilarious! |

Bad filler? "Harmony" was one of the funniest SGA episodes I've seen.I love the bounty hunter line. I did like how Harmony had the hots for Sheppard till Rodney saved her life. Last night was decent. I love the Blades of Glory line in the beginning. Some other good lines: Ronon: This is free right? Woman: yes it's free Ronon:Excellent Dr. Lee: If this was the movies, we'd dip him into a vat of molten steel or...a volcano... Sheppard: That's actually a good idea. Lee and Ronon: Really? If I wanted to discuss Season's 5 cast , do I need to put in spoiler box? |

What's up with all of the "partial cast" episodes lately? It looks like next week is going to be more of the same, too.
I wouldn't think that talking about casting for next year would be spoilery - but that's just me. |

I think that the reasons for the "partial cast" episodes is to not have to show how the TEAM has to go on missions without Teyla.
They would either just go out the 3 of them (John, Rodney and Ronan) and succeed (they always succeed!) leaving everyone wondering why they need Teyla or they would have to add a new 4th to the mix. |

Tomorrow, the show is supposed release the Season 5 cast list. Gate World is reporting that Amanda Tapping (Sam) will be leaving to work on her project,
Sanctuary.
This Friday episode is called "Trio" McKay, Carter, and Keller are trapped in an underground chamber while on an off-world mission, with no apparent means of escape. |

There's just one more line to that episode description.
To wile away the long hours, the three try to make the best of it, and attempt to get to know each other a little bit better.Sounds like a thriller! So... any word on who's playing the new S5 addition Captain Allison Porter? |

No word yet on who's playing her. The season 5 cast list is not out yet.
