Even the wraith queen one was pretty darn lame imo. The last one was pretty good. Still, the Daniel writing was a bit off. It's like the script originally had Sheppard with Rodney and they just swapped out the actors without re-writing the lines.

The only Daniel centric thing was the "poor little me, no one believes my theories" crap. The guy had 10 highly sucessful years being a member of SG-1. You'd think he's be long since over the couple of disses he had early in his career.

It was also pretty funny how the big bad destroy all the wraith weapon was circumvented in about 2 seconds by the wraith by them stealing a human ship. Yeah, that will work. (Never mind whatever else is wrong with it...)

It's like the writers arn't even bothering to meet about the scripts anymore. It's written and shot without any oversight.

The last two episodes have been better. I thought it was funny that John tortures himself but what's-his-name gets a beautiful woman.

I'll give the last one a 4 out of 10. Far from the worst but still has a lot of issues.

-One - it suffers from the issue that all shows that have been around awhile have - not able to schedule more than two or three main actors together in a scene. It gets old. I notice.

-Two - stunt casting. I guess we are all supposed to be atwitter about Bill Nye. He can't act and though he's very good at explaining science, he's no brilliant scientist. Ick. Just don't do it - or just give him one line. Every scene with him was painful.

-Three - interchagable writing/casting. It was 100% a Stargate Atlantis script. To the exent that they used the same banter with different actors. Ummmm.... At least pretend that the folks on the screen have different personalities and speech patterns than the folks you usually write for.

-Four - the chemistry between McKay and Kellor is getting better - but it's still not very believable.

-Five - a back on Earth episode without showing anything Earth related other than a cell phone and an airplane? Come on guys.

-Six - ugly dress - waist up it was fine but the rest? Was she going to an evening event or a swing dance after the rodeo? Costume department?!?!?!?

-Seven - Blugeoned the global warming theme - ok I get it.

-Eight - Desert buildings don't have good heating systems? It gets very, very cold at night in deserts. Lack of clouds and all that - Even Bill Nye could fill them in on those details.

-Nine - one little area of subzero temperature causing vortexes? ummm.... No even close...

I'm ok when the supposed science is so over my head it doesn't even make sense - but when it's practical stuff like what happens if 0 degree air hits 90 degree air - it's a little hard to ignore the bizarre inconsistencies with reality.

I know, I know, it's a TV show. But it really feels like they aren't even trying anymore. It's like the writers don't even meet to discuss the scripts that go forward or have anyone look at them.
