Typical family drama series set in Africa. Its a new twist on an old story and I'd be lying if I didnt get a little sniffly towards the end.

But, this show is on the CW so basically it's fucked. Ratings last night were not good. 1.64 million viewers. On the bright side, it actually did improve on its lead-in Online Nation by nearly 1 million viewers (which says a lot about how poorly the CW is doing). Hopefully CW will give this show a chance to find an audience. It's not like any of their other shows are doing much better.

I really like this show. The characters are likable enough plus I love the African theme and all of the animals.

It looked inherently crappy so the only thought I had was you motherfuckers cancelled Veronica Mars for this. I will never watch it and will always hate it. Totally rational.
