It wasn't too bad. I think it could have been fit into an hour and it would have been a little better, it drug a little bit for me. But maybe I only
liked it because I am so tired of summer tv.... BTW, was the main FBI guy the same guy who is on Lost from time to time?

It was OK and has potential, but my friend and I agreed...we'll watch an episode or two more and if it doesn't pick up we'll drop it. And she is a
HUGE JJ fan and an even bigger Joshua Jackson fan, so that is saying a lot if she is willing to drop it. But it just seemed like it was trying too hard.

I made it 20 minutes through. It was predictable and the acting was kinda weak. Maybe I had too high hopes for it. The plane scene was cool, but it was all
downhill from there. I love the floating letters though. Those were awesome. Hopefully that guy gets a job when this shitshow is cancelled.

El Cosmo - never saw Panic Room so didn't realize the blatant rip-off. But still cool nonetheless, in both instances. Did I miss any other gory scenes
after the first half hour? Loved the copilots jaw falling off, but the excitement died pretty quickly after that.

I'm not a fan of the letters. I made a similar complaint about Raising the Bar, it's just special effects that have no value except to be fancy.
I'd rather they just put the location at the bottom of the screen like everyone else does.

Letdown. I was excited for this show, but I stopped paying close attention after about 15 minutes and turned it off after about 30. It was pretty boring.

I thought the music was different enough but it is the same composer as Lost.
I dug it enough to watch it again, I remember I felt the same way for Heroes when it premiered. I thought the first episode was ok but didn't really get into it until the 2nd or 3rd episode. |

The crazy dad bothered me. He went from maybe 10% lucid in the hospital to your standard cantankerous scientist with quirks. Why? Better meds? Chinese take-out? It would have been much more interesting to keep him maybe 30% sane. Yeah, more difficult to write and act, but this is a JJ production. Slow. Too many formulaic chases. If it was genuinely creepy they could have slowly hinted at "The Pattern" over several shows, maybe the whole
first season, as you watch the cast figure out what's happening. Because of this missing element there was no definitive moment like Lost's Charlie:
"Guys, where are we?"

There was just too much to swallow. Too many logical and factual inconsistencies. They might as well have just explained everything with magic.

Huge Joshua Jackson fan, but I couldn't even get through half of this on first watch, way too slow for me. I'll probably give it
another chance or two, but I was severly under-whelmed & dissapointed by the first effort.

At least there were only 2 to ff thru each time.
The twist at the end was nice too. And the pregnant lady in an upcoming epi looks like it might freak me out. I thought it wasnt too bad. Not much else on. Yet. |
