SYTYCD Canada pwns SYTYCD USA. More quality dancers with strong musicality and diversity. And I loved the songs most of them picked to dance too. Very
original. The judges are better (although Dan is fantastic). I do miss Cat Deeley, though.

Who knew Canada has so many great dancers? I think I just realized why SYTYCD Canada auditions are sooooooooo much more enjoyable than the US version. They actually show people who can dance and dance well unlike the US version which is painful to watch because they mostly show the really bad ones. It's quite refreshing actually watching good dancers just dance doing whatever they like. And the Canadian judges actually make sense and no judge takes pains trying to come off as all-knowing God like Nigel. The only thing I don't particularly like is Blake looking/dancing too girly in the choreography round. He dances just like the bitchy queen choreographer from that reality show 'Looking for the next pussycat dolls or whatever the fuck.' |

I don't think Blake dances girly at all. Yes he's a total queen with his hand gestures and during the boot camp scenes I'm expecting him to shout
out "you want fame, this is where it starts!" at any moment - but as a dancer he's rock solid.
Yemagrl, next show is October 1st, Wednesday. Then I think it'll be Sunday performances and Wednesday eliminations. |

Emmanuel seems to whore himself on CTV all the time.
He sang on one of the Canadian Idol albums for crying out loud. I'm glad that V-Town represented. A lot of talented dancers. And I'm even okay with the "bad" dancers. I'm glad they haven't showed any camera-whorish, OTT bad auditions (yet?). And as for Leah, I'm growing to like her. Well, outside of MOD anyway. |

Jeremiah Hughes.. and from another site.. Fox network picture.. YEP, same guy. Some people had a major hate-on for this guy. Wait, so Jeremiah did audition in Canada? Why didn't we see it... (or did I miss it).
Does anyone know where I can find the asian ballroom couples audition (sara and zillion, I think), since it isn't on youtube. I'm quite excited for the top 20 reveal, because we've seen so many good auditions, it means we might finally have a top 20 with no unknown dancers. That's the way it should be.

I didn't mind his arrogance, since he was really talented. Besides, I see his arrogance as more of a "crazy artist" type thing than an
"I'm the best ever" thing. Like, that quotation you posted isn't the whole thing at all. His whole speech on the show really made no sense.
He's just very "arty" Besides, he is quite good looking (shallow, I know, but... yeah).
And just to make sure, I checked the video of his US audition, and his audition number is not 1279. It's like 2174 or something (he has more numbers in the US one). I figured it was worth looking into, since he's wearing almost exact same thing, and I thought maybe the Canadian site just posted pictures of him for some reason. So I guess he did audition. Also, he shaved (or waxed) his chest for Canada, too. I must say that disapoints me. That was a very good find heliox.
