Since I tend to root for about 85% of the cast, and most of the people here hate every single person in every single cast (with the exception of one or two
players), it's very likely that many of the players I root for are the same ones being hated on. Therefore it's entirely circumstantial.
For example, I liked Rachel from Big Brother 6. In the same breath I can also say I liked Ivette from Big Brother 6. I form my own opinions on each character based on a scale measuring colorfulness, offensiveness, and morph factor.

Amber placed sixth and then first, yet sooooo many people think she's one of the worst players!! Ill never understand it! Let's see, because in Australia, she didn't do anything. It was always a numbers game in the early seasons, so they just dragged Amber along because she was on Ogakor. She could have tried and teamed up with Kucha, but a lot of people saw that as pointless. Third place is better than sixth. And in All-Stars, every single person remembered Amber as useless in Australia, so they ignored her. You can call that a strategy, but she was non-existent to all the big name players out there. I like Amber and she was my 2nd fav in Australia behind Elisabeth, but she's definitely not a great player, nor a good one. |

But if you break the game down as simple as it gets, then the goal would be to get to the final two (or three in most recent seasons) and secure atleaset four
of the seven votes (or five of nine) to win! If you do that, then doesnt that make you a good player?!?! I mean their is no right or wrong way to win the game!
as long as you get to the end and secure atleast four or five votes then you did what you were there to do! I mean what exactly is the definiton of a good
player? Since their is no right or wrong way to win the game I think someone who rides coat-tails, never makes any decsions of their own but gets to the final
two and secures four or five votes is just as deserving as someone who lied and schemed to win! This is just my opionion and I understand that many people
feel like you have to lie, scheme, strategize and make and break deals in order to be deserving!

I've always found that alot of my faves placed sixth...Courtney and Christa especially...that seems to be the spot the rest of the cast figures out
they're a threat and cans them...
