And then for some reason, Jan, Jed, and Tanya's shots were changed from the second episode and onwards. I personally like Borneo Kelly, Ghandia, Guatemala Amy, Jolanda, and Palau Bobby Jon. I'm sure I'm forgetting others. As for Pirate Masters, Sean's shot is the best. Great shot and musical timing.

Those flies and the fact that she has her finger in her mouth make it look like one of those starving African child we see in early Sunday morning commercials.

I seriously think it's one of the best and not because of my bias. I think it has a really cool etheral quality to it, the flies read more like pixie dust, the finger quiet contemplation. I don't think any other character has had the sort of static shot, but with movement. I remember the shot when I first started watching (they'd use it in some of the commercials) -and wasn't rooting for her yet, but thinking with the shot, "oh gee, I wonder who's going to win? so obvious."

Chris's was good, and Leann's was good for the foreshadowing. Jon's in Pearl Islands is good just for the sheer contradictory nature of it (Jon being shown POSITIVELY?). I don't like Tijuana's though, I mean...what the hell's that thing on her face?

I loved the 4 that I bolded in your entry the best. Those are like my favorites of all time I really loved the season openers with people jumping from things. The Pearl Islands intro with the 2 chicks jumping off the boat, Palau's Stephenie and the other guy diving from the boat, etc. China, Thailand, All-Stars, and Borneo had the best opening music IMO All the openings have been cool in their own way
