I agree. I also wish they would drop the calender system. The storylines are good, but they develop so slowly because of the calender thing. You could play the game for several hours without a single thing happening plot-wise.

No I always wanted to play Innocent Sin but could never find it and yes I agree the calender system sucks. I do like the chart where you can get certain characters (in and out of your party) to like you alot but wish they could do the opposite too like having characters (in and out of your party) just hate you in which it would effect combat. Like the characters that don't like you will not listen to the commands you give them or refuse to fight with you in battle.

Things I want to see in Pesona 5 (should there be one)

1.) Recruitable Characters. Give the game 4 primary characters that are needed for the story but then 6-8 characters you can recruit. Like for instance in Persona 4 you can either have Teddy in your party permantly or red hair girl. Whoever you don't pick or go after can not join your group later on. If they stick to the High School theme you'd have to convince people to join your group. Like the School Bitch needs you to be more charsimatic then she'll join. The School Jock more athletic. Once you meet their standards they will join.

2.) Some kind of item creation system. If they stick with the High School route have the main character pick classes which would allow him to make certain items for battle. I.E. - Would you rather join Chemistry (to make poition etc) or Shop (make weapons). You are then forced to carry a grade. The better grade you have the better creations become available.

3.) More control over Personas. Like how you want them to level up. Out of these 3-4 points where do you want them applied (STR, DEF, MAG, ETC)

4.) Battles taking place in the real world.

5.) Get rid of the calender scheme in general. Just have it night and day. If you want to incorporate the seasons just change it at different plot turns.

6.) A main character that talks and with a pre-set name. I hate the main characters that don't talk because it doesn't give the game a personal feel b/c I could care less about the main characters (you) in Persona 3 and Persona 4.

7.) More villian emphasis. Lately the villians have just been meh. Like I know their bad b/c I'm fighting them but other than that I don't really hate them.

Absolute agreeance to all of this. The first Persona was sort of like #1. You had Main, Mark, Mary and Nate as your main people, but you could choose between Alana (my personal favorite!), Ellen, Brad and Chris to be your last party member.

, then I am REALLY disappointed. I sarcastically guessed it right away because

Adachi has really done nothing the entire game and I figured Atlus would have to make him useful for something

. Still, it's totally random, imo.
