The lame-ass chick in charge of this year's festivities decided it would a good idea for everyone to pick their dish out of a hat for our Thanksgiving
potluck this Thursday (sort of defeats the purpose of a potluck but whatever). Anyways, I have to bring mashed potatoes and I need a good, easy recipe
otherwise I will just buy some from Whole Foods or something. What if I mixed half instant mashed potatoes with half regular? Is that bringing me back too much
to my white trash roots?
I need something quick since I have to shop tonight (I have an event tomorrow so I'll be unable to shop).
Please advise.

Boil some potatoes (leave skins on). When they are done dump in a big bowl and add milk till it's how you like it, add about 1/2 stick of butter. Season to
taste (I throw in 2-3 cloves of garlic per pound of potatoes).

Buy a bunch of those little red potatoes. Boil them in a pot till you can poke them with a fork. Mash them up with some butter and a little milk till they are
creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste. Toss in a half-cup to a cup of shredded cheese to spice em' up.
