Table for 12 is already whoring themselves out for Ragu....tick, tock...it's only a matter of time with them. Although I don't find them nearly as
interesting as J&K+8.

This show has become unbearable to watch. Kate is a witch and a fame-whore and Jon is just as bad, The show was great in it's early beginnings when it
focussed on the day-to-day lives of a middle income family with 8 kids. Now it's become a joke...all the money, publicity, noteriiety and
"fame" has turned them into two-bit pimps who sold their kids to the media to make money and are now acting like Hollywood elite. I cannot stand to
see Kate anymore, anywhere, on magazines, tv. etc. She makes me sick., And to think a mere two years ago I used to LOVE this show and couldn't wait to
watch it every week. Now I cannot even stand seeing the previews on TLC. Kate's hair is a disaster and she is insane if she thinks it looks hot. The
whole show is a trainwreck and Jon and Kate are "Good parents gone bad"..... The whole premise of the show is now gone and it's all about how
many freebies they can grab in the way of trips, tours, meeting celebs......I hate this show now and I can't stand Jon or Kate.....too bad. It was once
a great show!

+1 to what mrspuff said up there, and a +1 to what someone else said a few pages back about kate compensating for her shitty childhood.
I find this show tedious and boring. I have to watch it occasionally because my wife is addicted to it (or at least addicted to what it was), and I gotta say, I would rather chew on shards of broken glass than listen to Kate drone on about something as mundane as her rugrat #6's penchant for collecting things. Alot of people don't know why Jon puts up with her ass, I think it's because of the $$$ and the televised tyrates she goes on whenever he speaks and she talks him down like a servant that dared open his mouth. He is getting this all out there as ammunition for divorce court so everyone can see what a self centered, egotistical, snotty-assed hag that he had to live with. |

Will There Be A Season 5? We DO Have A One Hour Special To Look Forward To! Well on yesterdays post it was revealed that they have already apparently done several episodes already for season 5. Emeril Lagasse spilled the beans a few weeks even before the finale aired that he was doing a cooking show with Jon & Kate. Well now Entertainmentweekly.com (via the Hollywood Insider) spilled the beans that they do have several shows in the can and that a "Going Green" Special featuring Jon & Kate will be airing April 19th. "For now, TLC won't officially say whether a fifth season is in the cards, though it's certainly something the network wants. "Jon and Kate are part of the TLC family and we obviously want them to be happy," says a TLC spokeswoman. "The top priority is to let them have some quality time together." She added that production can -- and will -- accommodate the family's schedule. The prospect of losing the hit program couldn't come at a worse time for TLC, especially since the March 23 finale of Jon & Kate Plus 8 was the show's highest-rated episode ever among overall viewers (4.6 million), persons 25-54 (2.3 million), and women 18-49 (2.1 million). Eager to monetize the show's stellar ratings, TLC would no doubt love to go into its New York upfront presentation for advertisers April 2 with the news that it'll bow a fifth season of Jon & Kate as early as this June -- that is, unless something changes with the family." |

Highest ratings ever! 25% of viewers are people that like the show, and 75% are people who take detailed notes and complain about it on the web.

Yea, it was the highest rated show because everyone wanted to see if they were getting divorced!

John & Kate should get replaced by Nadya. She'd make a way better show. |

'Jon & Kate Plus 8' to return for fifth seasonTLC announced today that Jon & Kate Plus 8 will return for a fifth season. The popular show that attracted record ratings for its March 23 finale will join a busy roster of returning programs, such as 18 Kids and Counting, A Baby Story, American Chopper, What Not to Wear, and Little People, Big World. The cable network has also introduced a host of new series -- more than 19 in all -- that will help fill its schedule in the coming year. They include
The Little Couple (a series about newlyweds Bill Klein and Jen Arnold, both of whom are under 4-feet tall); Freakin Fabulous With Clinton
Kelly (a fashion show based on his book of the same name); Making Over America With Trinny & Susannah (featuring the original U.K. hosts of
What Not to Wear), The General (featuring an interior-designer-turned-contractor), and Mom, Inc. (a new series from Kelly Ripa and
Mark Consuelos that helps struggling entrepreneurs).

No mention of Table for 12 in that list. Wonder if it just was not mentioned or is not taking off well.
