Amid Jon Gosselin's latest cheating scandal - he's been linked to 23-year-old teacher Deanna Hummel - Star has learned that he may not have been the first to stray.

"I heard Kate was getting way too close with her personal trainer, so Jon started cheating," Trisha Berlin, a fellow Pennsylvanian tells Star. Kate is also being linked to her hunky bodyguard - known as "Mr. Gray" to bloggers.

While the money-minded Kate crisscrosses the country on her book tour for Eight Little Faces - with the gray-haired bodyguard - Jon's left to his own devices back home, which is where the trouble has been brewing. Last month the dad was photographed leaving a Reading, Pa. bar with Hummel at 2 a.m. And, as Star reported, he flirted up a storm (and played beer pong) with a bevy of Juniata College co-eds at a house party in Huntingdon, Pa., in February.

"Jon goes out to meet other women because Kate has given him the cold shoulder," explains a source.

On Thursday, Kate addressed the cheating scandal during an interview on the Today show, saying: "We just need to weather this storm, just like all the other storms that we've been through."
