That's messed up. If I were the parents, I'd deck them bitches. And see to it that they get charged with depraved indifference capital murder one.

Fat people SHOULD be made fun of. But by other kids, not adults. C'mon people!! GROW UP!!!

Wow, the only legal recourse that I can find that the parents have is through a civil suit. The other parents could be charged with involuntary manslaughter (a
stretch), and the girl was never in their care, so they can't be charged with criminally negligent homicide either. Coercion isn't as far a stretch,
but isn't nearly as punishable as being found responsible for her death.

I wonder if she is one of those adults who try and relive their youth through their kids. One of the interns I work with said that her mom told her that some
of her friends (the mom) will log on to their teenaged DD's MySpaces and send messages to cute boys. WTF.

These parents are on Dr. Phil right now. They look relatively normal.

Except for those bags under mom's eyes. She could carry groceries in those bags.

Yeah the mom looks like she hasn't slept in a while. Still, not as freakishly idiotic as I thought they would be.

Haven't we been telling to monitor the children's internet activity. I still say they are to blame.

Sorry, but if the kid offed herself because of some idiotic MySpace postings, then SOMEthing was going to get her anyway. Low-flying bird, falling into a
manhole, bad clams, drowning from staring up into the shower nozzle, tripping over her own shoe laces in front of a bus...whatever. Thin the herd, I say.
Natural selection.
Having said that though, should still be worth a cool couple million in a civil lawsuit. No way the perpetrators of the prank can have ANY realistic excuse for such fucking moronic behavior. |

That mother needs to take some of the blame. If her kid hung herself within 20 minutes of the last time she saw her, how out of touch was she with her kid that
she couldn't tell how distraught she was.
I was talking about the my space girl's mom BoeschFan. |

If I were Megan's father, I'd kill those people. Let me sit on the jury to acquit him.

Didn't they tell to go kill herself or something like that?? Heh. She would have done WELL here....

What the parents did was kind of sick, but technically, they didn't do anything "wrong" (illegal). In their eyes, they felt they were defending
their child.
No disrespect, but like someone mentioned earlier, if the girl killed herself over freaking myspace of all reasons, then she wasn't long for this world, unfortunately. |

doesn't matter what the mental state of the girl who killed herself was.
the parents who (how DO these freaks find each other and get together?) played around like that need a fucking beating. adults should understand that it's rough enough to be a girl that age, who the fuck would mess with a child on purpose like that? |
