Actually, that was smart of Bruno. By putting Zach, his best performer, in the bottom 2, it assured him that he could get rid of anyone he wanted and not look bad doing it. Bruno can always say that Zach was the better performer and wash his hands of the guilt of cutting someone out.

Agreed. But as someone else posted, I think Carrie Ann is sexist. She doesn't like females with more talent than her. She's always hardest on the females in DWTS and only gives out gushing compliments when there's nothing she can criticize.

And the special guests last night? Crap. Granted High School Musical is neither Shakespeare nor Rogers and Hammerstein, but there's some good music in it. "We're All In This Together" as a fun, catchy Disney song and that group KILLED IT DEAD last night. It was AWFUL. First off, what's with the very large girl in the cast? She's bad and being so big, she pulls focus. I know Disney tries to be PC and all encompassing, but there's a time and a place for it. (In Disneyland's California Adventure, they have the Aladdin Show and one of the cast members is in an electric wheelchair - which, as everyone knows, was available during the time of Aladdin.) Then there was the blonde girl. She looked old enough to be a teacher with tenure, not a student.. and she couldn't sing well. It was just god awful.

Of course, I'll end up watching next week because the cast of the next DWTS will be revealed.

And to think, this show was in the works BEFORE thee writer's strike. I hope it doesn't get picked up for next year.. but being ABC and Disney, it probably will... .
