Yeah, I think some people read it as "which tribe WINS Immunity," but that it fine - I know what they mean.

Hehe...looking forward to Episode 1!!!

Thank you. I'm looking forward to see what people think of it. I would like to post subsequent episodes faster as well but for the first few they have to be a week apart just because of my exam schedules. After that, the season will go very quickly. :)

My best guess is that the episode will be up around 3:00 pm EST - I'll need to be at the computer for an extended time and I think that would work best for me, but I'll update everyone more later.

<A soft, flute-type music plays, as the camera scrolls above the Great Wall of China for a few seconds, and then abruptly cuts ahead to show an aerial clip of the truck pulling up to the base of a steep mountain, where a set of stone steps can be seen. A prominent drumbeat is then heard, as the camera shows rapid views the castaways climbing out of the back of the truck>

Denise - CONFESSIONAL: You know, when they dropped us off out of the truck, I thought that was it. <The camera shows Erik, as he says something inaudible> I thought Jeff was gonna be standin' there waiting for us and we were gonna divide into tribes, <laughs> <A wide view of several castaways is now shown> but the guy says to go "up," <The Chinese man who was driving the truck can be seen pointing up a long set of stone steps> and <pause> I'm lookin' at a pretty steep set of stairs goin' "I hope I make it up there." <laughs> You know, I'm just a lunch lady… <laughs> <A view of Jean-Robert is shown, as he turns his head>

Jean-Robert: I don't know about you, but that looks like a long way to me… <Denise is shown>

Denise: <to Leslie> We have to carry all our suitcases up there? <The camera then shows a clip of Denise, Leslie, and Ashley looking around>

Ashley: I knew I shouldn't have packed this much… <laughs> <The camera shows Chicken carrying his suitcase, and then switches angles to show Erik, Aaron, and Peih-Gee>

Erik: This is really steep right here. <A faraway clip of the exhausted castaways carrying their heavy luggage up the long set of stone steps is shown. Amanda is then shown next, as she counts "300" aloud. The camera then scrolls over to Dave and James>

Dave: <talking aloud> Left, right… <Todd and Erik are then shown turning around a corner>

Erik: More steps? <Indistinct conversation can be heard, as the camera scrolls across several castaways. Frosti can be seen carrying his suitcase over his head>

Frosti: I think I see the end… <Denise is now shown with a relieved look on her face>

Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: As soon as somebody said they could see the top of the temple, we all just took off and bolted up the rest of the hill, <Cheering can be heard, as the camera shows Leslie and Jaime excitedly climbing the steps> but Courtney, who I think weighs about ninety pounds… <laughs> <Courtney is shown struggling to carry her luggage, before the camera shows Aaron and Jean-Robert both looking back>

Jean-Robert: Hey, is Courtney still back there? <Todd is shown, as he says "Yeah, she is">

Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> …was having trouble, and <pause> Aaron actually ended up carrying her suitcase up for her, <The camera shows Aaron, as he says "I got it"> which I thought was a nice thing to do. <laughs> I'm used to having somebody carry my things for me… <laughs> <'Far East' begins to play, as the camera shows Erik reaching the top of the steps. He then claps, as the other castaways reach the top. Ashley is heard saying "Yes! Here we are," as the camera goes back to Denise>

Denise: 500 steps later… <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows an aerial view of the Buddhist monastery. A monk can be seen banging a log against a large bell, before the camera switches angles to show the sixteen praying castaways being led towards the temple by three monks. Jeff is shown waiting on the steps of the temple>

Frosti - CONFESSIONAL: We started this game in the middle of civilization in the most populated country in the world; <A view of many monks standing in two rows on opposite sides of the temple are shown> I mean, that's not how I would have expected to start Survivor, <The camera shows a clip of Peih-Gee bowing her head> but <long pause> walking up to the temple, I already felt so far from that. <Another view of Frosti is shown next> It was definitely like we were transported back in time. <The castaways can be seen gathering in a group in front of the monastery, as the camera scrolls across them and then zooms in on Ashley>

Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: I work for WWE; <short pause> I'm a WWE Diva, <A rapid clip of Jaime and Sherea is shown> and wrestling has taken me all over the world, <pause> but never to China. <The camera now shows Ashley smiling> So when I found out that Survivor was actually coming here, I was like "No way!" <An aerial view of the castaways standing in front of the temple is now shown> This is history being made on a number of different levels, and I just think it's wonderful. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera switches angles to show Jeff, who has an amused look on his face>

Jeff Probst: Welcome to Survivor: China. <Amanda smiles and subtly nods her head> The game is about to begin, <A wide view of several castaways is shown> but before it does, you are going to take part in a Buddhist welcoming ceremony inside this 400 year-old temple. <The camera now shows Jeff again> It's going to impact each of you differently, <Peih-Gee is then shown> but I assure you this is not a worship ceremony; <A prominent sound is heard, as Leslie shifts her expression> it is to make you feel welcomed to this land; <short pause> you're in a foreign country. <The camera switches angles to show Jean-Robert> The ceremony you're about to participate in is a real Buddhist ceremony. <Courtney is shown with a strange look on her face> You'll be guided through it, and when you're finished, <Dave and Erik are shown listening intently> you'll return back out here to me, and we'll divide into tribes. <Todd is now shown smiling, before the camera goes back to Jeff> It's time to begin… <The camera scrolls closer to a large golden Buddha statue, and then switches angles to show a side view of the praying castaways, as they walk up the steps of the monastery>

Chicken - CONFESSIONAL: Just walking in to the temple, <A view of Chicken is shown> I'll remember it for the rest of my life, you know, <Two monks are then shown praying> putting an ol' farmer into some place where he's never been. <The camera switches angles to show the eight men standing together> I ain't never seen nothin' like that, but <pause> I felt what Jeff said; <Chicken is now shown bowing> you know, here I am in boots and heavy blue jeans, and I felt welcomed into their culture. <The camera scrolls over to Sherea> It's somethin' I'll never ever forget. <Dave can be seen bowing his head, before the camera shows a wide view of the temple's interior and then turns to an emotional Peih-Gee, who is looking around>

Peih-Gee - CONFESSIONAL: The ceremony was so amazing, especially for me being of Chinese heritage. <The camera now focuses in on a teary-eyed Peih-Gee> I just felt such a connection to this place and all the people, <The camera scrolls across several monks, as they pray silently> and <short pause> it really, you know, brought me to tears because it was like, so overwhelming just to be here and experience something like this. <A monk can now be seen chanting at the front of the monastery, as the camera switches angles to show an uncomfortable Leslie>

Leslie - CONFESSIONAL: I'm an ambassador for the Lord Jesus Christ. <short pause> My faith is everything, <A clip of James kneeling down at an altar is shown> and the ceremony, it was Buddhism. <The camera shows a wide view of the female castaways praying in a line> I knew that the minute I stepped into that temple was going to be emotional for me, but <pause> I was very respectful, you know, of their beliefs. <Three monks can now be seen bowing on a ceremonial mat> I thought the temple was beautiful, <The camera scrolls across many golden statues> but I have a different faith, and more than anything else in this game, I just want to be true to myself. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the sixteen castaways can be seen standing up from the mat and waving to the monks, before they begin to walk out of the temple. Jeff Probst: Yellow tribe, your name is Zhan Hu, <Ashley can now be seen putting her yellow buff around her wrist> which means "Fighting Tiger." <The eight Zhan Hu members are then shown clapping, as the camera shows Frosti cheering and then turns to Chicken>

Chicken - CONFESSIONAL: Fitting in with this tribe I've been put on will be my biggest challenge. <A close-up view of Sherea is shown next> You know, I'm definitely the oldest and damn far from being the best looking. <Erik is then shown smiling, as the camera focuses on him for a few seconds> The other guys all look like they're in good shape, you know, <Frosti is shown again> but <pause> don't assume I'm weakest just because I'm the oldest. <The camera switches angles to show another view of Chicken> I keep my eye on that ball and I'm here to win the game. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera cuts back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Red tribe, you guys are Fei Long, <Aaron is now shown grinning widely> which means "Flying Dragon." <The camera shows a view of Jean-Robert, James, and Courtney> Put on your buff. <Jeff hands a red buff to Todd, as 'Little Adventure' begins to play>

Todd - CONFESSIONAL: When Jeff hands you that buff, <Amanda is shown putting the red buff around her neck, before the camera scrolls across several Fei Long members> that's when it really becomes real that you're playing Survivor. <Todd is shown smiling, as he says something inaudible> You have a one in sixteen chance of winning a million dollars; <short pause> those are better odds than any game I've ever played, and I cannot wait to get started. <Jean-Robert is shown with a smirk on his face, before the camera zooms out to show all eight Fei Long members. Another view of Jeff is then shown, as an eerie shift in the music occurs>

Jeff Probst: Now, <long pause> one of the major philosophies in Buddhism is the leaving behind of your worldly possessions. <Courtney is now shown shaking her head> There's a bag here for each of you. <The camera now shows Jeff handing eight bags to Erik for Zhan Hu> I want watches, <Dave can be seen taking off his watch> wallets, money, <Frosti is then shown putting a necklace into his bag> and anything else you don't want to lose in here. <A view of Fei Long is then shown, as Amanda is shown taking off her earrings> In addition, all the clothes you've been hoping to wear are staying right here. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows a confused Jaime turning her head and Jeff points to the suitcases>

Jaime: Oh no. <Another castaway is heard saying "Oh my God," as Jeff is shown again>

Jeff Probst: You're not getting these suitcases. <A few uneasy laughs are heard, as the camera shows another view of the castaways' suitcases gathered in a pile, and then shows Amanda nervously shaking her head. She then hands Jeff her bag of personal items>

Amanda - CONFESSIONAL: When Jeff basically told us "You're going into the game with only the clothes on your back," <The camera scrolls across several castaways> my first thought was "Oh, great!" <laughs> You know, I'm wearing this long dress and uncomfortable shoes. <A close-up view of Amanda is shown, as the camera scrolls down to her shoes> My tribe probably sees me as the weak girl already, <laughs> <Courtney and Aaron are then shown next> but <short pause> I think I'll prove them wrong. <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows the eight Fei Long members, and then goes back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Alright; <pause> another big theme in Chinese history is "The Art of War." <A close-up view of Denise is now shown> This is the single greatest document ever written about strategy and tactics for battle. <Jeff can be seen holding up a red scroll, as the camera zooms in on it> Survivor is, in its own way, a war, <The camera now shows James> and it is most definitely a battle for survival. <Aaron is then shown with an uneasy smile on his face> Each tribe will get a copy of this. <A few laughs are heard, as the camera switches angles to show the entire Zhan Hu tribe> I suggest you look through it. <Ashley now nods her head> The knowledge and the wisdom in here could help you win the million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor. <The camera focuses in on Erik, before cutting back to Jeff again>

Jeff Probst: Your next task is to find your tribal camps. <The camera scrolls across several Zhan Hu members> You will have a map to guide you. <Jeff is now shown holding up a yellow map> Look for your tribe flags at your new home. <Todd can be seen nodding his head, before the camera switches angles to show Jeff> I wish you the very best of luck. <A wide view of both tribes is now shown>

Jeff Probst: Zhan Hu, come get your "Art of War" and your map. <Jeff can be seen holding out the map and the scroll, before he hands them to Erik> Head out to the left. <A clip of the castaways walking out of the temple area is shown> Boat'll be waiting for you. <The camera now returns to Jeff, as he holds out the red map and scroll>

Jeff Probst: Fei Long, <Leslie is now shown listening intently> come get your "Art of War" and your map. <The eight Fei Long members can be seen walking forward, as Jeff hands the two items to Denise> Head out and go to the right of the temple. <Todd can be heard saying something inaudible> I'll see you at your first Immunity Challenge. <Another clip of the entire Fei Long tribe is shown, as Denise hands the map to Aaron> Good luck, guys. <Amanda is heard saying "Thank you." An aerial view of the temple area is now shown, as indistinct cheering and conversation is heard from both tribes. Zhan Hu Tribe - Night 1

<The infrared camera shows a view of the moon, as faint clouds shift in front of it, and then fades out to show the Zhan Hu tribe's entranceway. The camera then cuts ahead to show a wide view of the eight tribe members lying awake in their makeshift shelter>

Ashley: I'm glad that we can say we've roughed it like this… <laughs> <Jaime can be heard asking "Can you slide down a little bit, Dave?" as the infrared camera shows Chicken>

Chicken - CONFESSIONAL: We put up a simple structure, you know, to sleep under, <A wide view of the tribe's shelter is shown> otherwise we knew we were gonna have a long, cold and windy night, <Dave is heard saying "I'm not gonna get a wink"> and that's what we got anyway, you know? <The camera shows a close-up view of a restless Jaime>

Jaime: I honestly don't think I can sleep in here. <Jaime can now be seen standing up, as Erik says something inaudible> Do you want to go down by the lake? <Erik is shown again>

Erik: <to Jaime> I'll go just to kinda like keep you company… <Jaime says "Okay, definitely!">

Erik - CONFESSIONAL: We have the most beautiful girls on Survivor on Zhan Hu; <laughs> <A wide view of both Ashley and Jaime is shown> You know, <short pause> Jaime, she's really attractive, and we are both single, <laughs> so <pause> it could get to the point where there's the beginnings of a romantic relationship, you know, somewhere down the road… <An infrared view of the night sky is shown, before the camera scrolls down to Erik and Jaime>

Erik: Nashvilleis like six hours from Greenville, but <pause> you could get to Greenville from Columbia in probably like two hours. <The camera shows Jaime, as she asks "You could?">

Jaime: <to Erik> Do you think I would like it in Nashville? <laughs> <The infrared camera continues to focus on Jaime for a few seconds>

Jaime - CONFESSIONAL: I definitely feel some sparks of attraction with Erik, and <pause> it's just the first day! <laughs> <An infrared clip of Erik is shown, as he smiles> I didn't think there'd be somebody who I would feel such a genuine connection with so fast out here, <Both Erik and Jaime can be seen talking> but if everything else goes wrong with the game, at least I'll have something good to look at… <laughs> <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera cuts back to the castaways in the shelter>

Dave: Are Jaime and Erik still out there? <Peih-Gee is shown sitting up and turning her head>

Peih-Gee: I hear them by the water, but I can't make them out… <Dave is now shown again>

Dave: Well, <pause> I'll just give my spiel to the six of us here: <The camera shows a view of Frosti> You know, I think we're doing great for Day 1; <The infrared camera zooms out to show all six Zhan Hu members> it could be much worse, but it's not… <Ashley is then shown>

Ashley: Tomorrow's gonna be better once we have a routine. <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows Erik and Jaime sleeping by the lake. The screen now fades out>

Zhan Hu Tribe - Day 2

<The camera shows a close-up view of the dull sun rising in the early morning sky, and then fades out to show foggy clouds surrounding the ancient mountain. A wide view of the Zhan Hu tribe's main camp area is shown, before the camera switches angles to show a groggy Dave>

Dave: Everybody still hangin' in there? <Ashley can be seen running a hand through her hair>

Dave - CONFESSIONAL: The first night sleeping in that half-way shelter was miserable, man; it just sucked. <laughs> <Peih-Gee is shown putting a sock on>

Peih-Gee: I was happy with this yesterday, but <pause> I don't get why it was so horrible. <A close-up view of a tired Sherea is shown next, before the camera scrolls over to Frosti>

Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The bamboo, uh, we flattened out so it would sleep better, but <pause> it wiggled all night, <Ashley is shown sitting in the shelter, as she says "It wasn't comfortable"> so <pause> we have to get that straightened out. <The camera switches angles to show Erik and Jaime walking back up to the camp> Um, Jaime and Erik ended up sleeping away from everybody else, by the lake. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera turns to Ashley>

Ashley: <playfully> What happened with you two last night? <laughs> <Erik is shown smiling>

Erik: <to Ashley> You know, uh, <long pause> I don't kiss and tell… <laughs> <The camera shows Jaime smiling and then goes back to Dave>

Dave - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> That definitely raised some eyebrows, man. <laughs> You know, having two people separating themselves the first night is probably not the best form of play, but… <He shrugs, smirks, and laughs> <'Welcome to China' begins to play. A close-up view of Ashley is shown next, as she carries a long bamboo pole. The camera then scrolls down to show her mud-covered boots>

Ashley: <talking aloud> These boots weight like twenty pounds each, <pause> and they're muddy… <Dave is then shown again, as he raises his eyebrows>

Dave: Boots or boobs? <Ashley playfully replies "Oh stop," as Erik is shown smirking>

Ashley: <to Dave> Mind out of the gutter, Dave… <Another clip of Dave is then shown next, as he laughs hysterically. Several Zhan Hu members are then shown>

Dave: <jokingly> Somebody said "rack" and I thought of Ashley. <laughs> <A comical sound is heard, as the camera shows a view of Ashley's chest and then scrolls up to her face>

Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: Being a professional WWE wrestler, I'm judged all the time based on, you know, outside appearances. <Ashley is now shown carrying a bamboo pole over her shoulders> People automatically think that because it's wrestling, what I do is not real or that I'm fake and that's just not true. <The camera continues to focus on Ashley>

Ashley: Are we taking this apart now to strengthen the new shelter? <Chicken says "Yeah," as the camera shows several castaways dismantling the temporary shelter>

Ashley - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> This is an opportunity for me to, you know, show the world what I'm made of <Ashley is shown flexing her muscle, as she laughs> and I am here to win just like everybody else. <A comical music begins to play, as the camera shows Chicken>

Chicken: Let's start re-strengthening this! <Sherea is then shown turning her head>

Sherea: <to Chicken> We already did it once, you know, <pause> so why do we have to do it again?! <A prominent drumbeat is then heard, as the camera turns to Frosti>

Frosti: <to Chicken> We've also gotta think about the challenge… <Chicken is shown again>

Chicken: Well, <long pause> if you guys wanna listen to me, that's great. <Sherea is heard saying "I just don't want to use up our precious energy"> If you don't, you know, I'm not gonna do this all myself. <There is an eerie shift in the music, as the camera turns to Peih-Gee>

Peih-Gee - CONFESSIONAL: It doesn't matter what project we're working on, <A side view of Erik is now shown, as he asks "Need some help?"> I would say that Chicken is like the main leader, <Chicken can be heard saying "Another couple layers"> but I think also Dave plays a large part in giving us direction as well. <The camera now shows both Dave and Peih-Gee>

Dave: <to Peih-Gee> Chicken can do whatever he wants with the roof, but <pause> if you want to try and help with the floor; <Peih-Gee can be heard saying "Yeah"> that's my biggest priority right now cause that was rough last night… <laughs> <Peih-Gee is now shown>

Peih-Gee: <to Dave> Okay, like, I should flatten this bamboo out? <Dave says "Let's do it," as the camera zooms out to show a wide view of the tribe's partially-constructed shelter>

Peih-Gee - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I really don't care who the leader is; <A view of several Zhan Hu members is then shown> you know, I just want to get our shelter up and functioning before this Immunity Challenge <Peih-Gee is shown again> or else we are gonna lose… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera switches to an overhead view of the Zhan Hu tribe's camp area. The screen then fades out>

Fei Long Tribe - Day 3

<The camera shows an aerial view of a commanding mountain and continues to scroll above it for a few seconds, before fading out to show the eight Fei Long members gathered around their treemail box. Indistinct conversation can be heard, as the camera zooms in on Amanda>

Amanda: <excitedly> Look at all this stuff! <The camera shows a clip of Denise picking up the tribe's red challenge flag, as Aaron shouts "Treemail!">

Todd: Should we all open it together? <Leslie now opens up the treemail box, and pulls out a message that is written on a wooden carving of a dragon, as James says "Cool">

Leslie: Life is tough in China

Denise - CONFESSIONAL: The treemail just came for the first challenge and it's gonna be combined Immunity and Reward Challenge. <A wide view of the entire Fei Long tribe is shown, before the camera zooms in on both Courtney and Denise>

Denise: …Because the last tribe to finish

Amanda: Are we gonna win today or what? <laughs> <The camera now scrolls over to Aaron, as another castaway can be heard saying "We'll win today for sure">

Aaron: I mean, there's no reason why we shouldn't win this… <Denise is then shown again>

Denise - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I don't want to be the first tribe that goes to Tribal Council, <The camera shows a side view of the eight Fei Long members walking out of camp in single file> so <pause> I just hope that Zhan Hu has to vote somebody out first… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen abruptly fades out>

Fei Long Tribe - Day 3

<A soft flute-type music plays, as the camera shows a wide view of the calm lake and sunlight sparkles off of it. A prominent sound is then heard, as the camera cuts ahead to show the sun, and then switches angles to show Fei Long's flag. The eight defeated castaways can now be seen walking back to camp, as the camera focuses on Amanda, who is carrying the flag>

Amanda: <talking aloud> It was not a fun day today. <The camera continues to show Amanda>

Amanda - CONFESSIONAL: We lost our first Immunity Challenge and now we have to go to Tribal Council tonight, <A rapid clip of both Leslie and James is shown> which sucks, <laughs> but <pause> we're still holding our heads high. <The camera scrolls over to Todd>

Amanda: <to Aaron> Wanna go get some firewood for that fire we don't have yet? <Aaron says "Sure," as the camera cuts ahead to show the two castaways walking in a forested area>

Aaron: <to Amanda> What's goin' on? <A close-up view of Amanda is shown next>

Amanda: <to Aaron> It's weird because I have like no idea how to vote… <Aaron is shown>

Aaron: <to Amanda> You're not thinking weakest link? <Amanda is heard asking "Who's the weakest?"> Courtney; <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows a clip of Courtney laughing at something> she's a liability for the group. <Amanda subtly nods her head>

Aaron - CONFESSIONAL: When you're fighting so hard for Immunity and then Jeff yells out that the other tribe wins the challenge, your heart just sinks, <Leslie is shown, as she says "We gave it our best"> so <long pause> I think we're gonna have to vote out Courtney to keep our team strong, uh, in the challenges and at camp. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows another view of Courtney> She's about the only person we can afford to get rid of. <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows the castaways gathered together>

Courtney: <to Denise> Is that the water from the rain? <The camera scrolls down to show a pot with a small amount of rainwater in it, before switching angles to show Denise>

Denise: Just take one drink, you know, <Aaron is shown taking a drink of water from the pot> and then let the next person have one because this is all the water we have for today… <The camera now shows Aaron taking a second drink of water, as a mysterious sound is heard. Courtney can then be seen tensing her expression, before the camera goes back to Denise>

Courtney - CONFESSIONAL: We all had like a swig of water, <Todd is shown drinking from the pot> and Aaron flat-out took more than his fair share. <A close-up view of Aaron is then shown next> It's like "Dude, what are you doing, man?" You know, <short pause> you're gonna go drink our water? Like, <sarcastically> thanks for that. Can we not just have everybody get one drink like we said? <laughs> <Courtney, Denise, and Todd are shown>

Denise: That was somebody else's water that he just drank… <Courtney is shown nodding her head, as the camera scrolls across several Fei Long members>

Courtney: <to Denise> Oh, I know. <Todd can now be heard saying "He's sneaky"> I totally saw him do it; I was like, "[Censored]!" <laughs> <The camera then returns to Todd>

Todd: Did he think you weren't gonna see? <Courtney is shown, as she says "I don't know">

Courtney - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> So now Denise doesn't want to let it go… <An eerie sound is heard, as the camera shows Denise, Leslie, and Amanda sitting on the stone staircase that leads up to the tribe's entranceway>

Denise: <to Amanda> Aaron didn't even ask if he can take another drink of water, so <long pause> I say Aaron goes… <The camera switches angles to show an uncertain Amanda>

Amanda: <to Denise> I'm just not sure if that's the best thing right now. <Denise can now be seen tensing her expression, before the camera turns to an uneasy Leslie>

Leslie - CONFESSIONAL: The first vote-off is always a little bit of luck, and <short pause> it could be for any reason because we've got such a tight-knit tribe already. <Leslie can now be heard asking "Aaron?"> You know, when somebody brings up a name, which <pause> the two I'm hearing are Courtney and Aaron, <Rapid clips of both Aaron and Courtney are shown> as long as it's not my name, <laughs> I think it's too early to start going against that. <The camera cuts ahead to show Todd, Leslie, Jean-Robert, and James talking in a group>

Leslie: And you know what? Our tribe is great regardless of him… <The camera now switches angles to show Todd, as he says "Oh yeah">

Todd - CONFESSIONAL: Tonight's the first Tribal Council and my tribe, Fei Long, has to vote someone out. <A close-up view of James is shown next> I hate that. <short pause> There is nothing fun about it, <Jean-Robert is then shown> but <pause> we all have an idea who's going and it's the right decision… <The camera switches angles to show Todd>

Todd: As long as everybody's going for Aaron, right? <Jean-Robert now turns his head>

Jean-Robert: Do you believe that? <Leslie can be heard asking "What?"> About Aaron? <Todd is now shown, as the camera scrolls over to him>

Todd: <to Jean-Robert> Yeah, I do… <Another view of Jean-Robert is shown next>

Jean-Robert: You don't think she just made that up to get rid of him? <Todd is then shown shaking his head, as Leslie says "Courtney said she saw it too">

Todd: Why would Denise lie about something like that? <The camera continues to show Todd>

Todd - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> We're still gonna have the strongest tribe after this Tribal Council, but we're also taking out a very big threat right off the bat, <An unsuspecting Aaron is shown sitting by the fire pit> which will be better for me in the long run as long as everybody follows through. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Amanda and Jean-Robert talking in a jungle area>

Jean-Robert: <to Amanda> Are you voting off Aaron? <An uncertain Amanda is then shown>

Amanda: I don't know; <short pause> I just think it'd be smart to keep the strongest people until the merge, <A view of Aaron sitting in the shelter is shown> and maybe vote off Courtney, but <long pause> it's also smart to vote with the majority, <laughs> so… <The camera focuses back in on a thoughtful-looking Jean-Robert>

Jean-Robert: <to Amanda> We should keep Aaron for a little while for the challenges; <The camera scrolls back over to Amanda> I think Courtney's the one we need to get rid of… <A wide view of several Fei Long members packing their bags is shown next>

Amanda - CONFESSIONAL: I actually haven't decided how I'm gonna vote tonight. <The camera shows Amanda talking to Todd and Leslie> Part of me thinks I should really try hard to convince people not to vote for Aaron, <A clip of Jean-Robert and Aaron is shown> but <short pause> you have to look out for yourself in this game and I don't want to go against the majority, so <pause> we'll see what happens. <A view of the eight Fei Long members walking out of camp is shown> It's going to be an interesting night for sure… <laughs> <The screen fades out>

Tribal Council #1 - Fei Long Tribe

<'Tally the Vote' begins to play, as the camera shows an aerial view of the Tribal Council and zooms closer to it, before fading out to show a close-up view of a flickering flame. The camera now scrolls over to a stone statue of a foo dog, and then abruptly switches angles to show the eight Fei Long members walking into Tribal Council from behind. A quick clip of Jean-Robert and Denise is shown, before the camera zooms out to show the entire main Tribal Council area. Jeff is then shown, as the castaways stand in a group in front of the benches>

Jeff Probst: Behind each of you is a torch. <The camera now shows a wide view of the main Tribal Council area> Go ahead and grab a torch <Courtney can be seen grabbing her torch, before the camera turns to Denise> and approach the flame. <Aaron is then shown walking towards the central fire> This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council because in this game, <A wide view of all eight castaways dipping their torches into the fire is shown> fire represents your life. <Leslie is now shown lifting her torch out of the fire> As long as you have fire, you're still in the game. <Amanda is now shown next, as the camera focuses on her> When your fire's gone, so are you. <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera shows James placing his torch back into his slot and then scrolls forward to show a quick clip of Jean-Robert> Have a seat. <The Fei Long members now sit down, before the camera scrolls over to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Well, I'm sorry to say, welcome to your first Tribal Council. <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as Todd is shown smiling, and then returns to Jeff> Before we get to the vote, let's talk about the first few days. <A wide view of the entire tribe is shown> How has life been over at Fei Long, Aaron? <The camera now zooms in on Aaron>

Aaron: It hasn't been as hard as I thought yet. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as Courtney turns her head> There's some frustration, obviously, over losing the challenge, but <short pause> we've pulled together at camp and we're not even really on edge. <The camera now shows a view of Denise> I think everyone's kinda come to the understanding that we need to vote out the weakest member so we can be ready for the challenges ahead. <Todd can be seen with a thoughtful look on his face, before the camera cuts back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Courtney, what's been the worst part so far? <Courtney is now shown laughing>

Courtney: There is no worst part. <laughs> This place just sucks, flat-out. <Aaron is shown shaking his head> It's been like three days of hell and miserableness. <pause> Everything's wet all the time; it's filthy and muddy. <The camera shows Courtney again> On top of that, we have no fire and hardly any water. <Both James and Jean-Robert are then shown next> It's like a third world country; <short pause> um, not a good way to live… <Jeff is now shown>

Jeff Probst: So you lose today's Immunity Challenge; <The camera now scrolls across several Fei Long members> what was the mood back at camp, Todd? <A view of Todd is shown>

Todd: I think, as a tribe, we were all confident that we wouldn't be in this situation quite so soon, <A wide view of the entire Fei Long tribe is shown, as Amanda nods her head> but we have to be able to bounce back from this loss or else we're gonna be back really soon <The camera then switches angles to show Leslie> and I believe that we can come back strong, Jeff; <short pause> I really believe that. <The camera shows Jeff again>

Jeff Probst: Well, now here you are at Tribal Council, and somebody's going tonight. <Jeff is then shown again> You will be down to seven. <Leslie is shown subtly nodding her head> What's that vote gonna be based on, Courtney? <The camera then turns to Courtney>

Courtney: If somebody says <whispering> "let's get rid of so-and-so," you almost just jump on that bandwagon. <The camera shows another view of all eight Fei Long members> It just takes one piece of gossip, like people whispering off in the bushes, <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows Denise nodding her head> and suddenly everybody's against that person, so now the whole tribe is like voting one way. <Amanda can be seen looking towards Jean-Robert. Another view of Jeff is then shown next>

Jeff Probst: Denise, you're nodding your head. <A quick view of Aaron is shown> What's the situation that Courtney's talking about? <The camera focuses in on Denise>

Denise: After the challenge today, we collected just enough rainwater for everybody in one of the ceramic pots <James is then shown listening intently> and we were all gonna get one drink, <The camera now shows Aaron shifting his expression> and I saw Aaron drinking more than anybody else did. <An eerie sound is heard, as the camera scrolls back to Denise> He took two drinks at once and that was enough to get, you know, on my bad side. <laughs> <A surprised Aaron is now shown, as he smiles. The camera switches angles to show Jeff>

Jeff Probst: So let me ask this to everybody then: <Jeff takes a short pause, as he motions toward the tribe> did anybody else see Aaron taking two drinks of water? <A wide view of the Fei Long tribe is now shown, as Courtney can be seen nodding and then raising her arm>

Courtney: Yeah. <Jeff is shown again, as he says "Courtney, you did">

Jeff Probst: Aaron, <short pause> you look like this is news to you; <The camera shows an uneasy Aaron, as he shakes his head in disbelief> what do you want to say to defend yourself? <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Denise and then scrolls back to Aaron, who has an uncomfortable grin on his face>

Aaron: No; I mean, I am guilty as charged, <Todd is now shown turning towards Aaron> you know, but this is the first time that anybody's ever mentioned it to me, honestly, <The camera shows a burning torch and then scrolls forward to show Amanda> and <short pause> I don't know if I was just thirsty or basically, you know, gave into temptation, <laughs> you know, but I can't defend the action. <Aaron is shown again> But, uh, if anybody felt that I did something wrong, <Courtney is now shown with a strange look on her face> we could have talked about it, you know, before Tribal Council. <A mysterious sound is heard, as the camera shows all eight Fei Long members, and then returns to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: So maybe the problem then, is that you're not being honest enough with each other. <James is now shown nodding his head> Denise, <short pause> is that a fair assessment? <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the camera goes back to Denise>

Denise: That's fair. <Aaron is shown again> I mean, I just let it be known among everybody that I noticed it. <A wide view of the entire Fei Long tribe is shown> I'm not a confrontational person, but I should have said to Aaron, you know, <pause> and we could've maybe smoothed things over instead of spreading what happened around to the tribe. <A wide-eyed Aaron can be seen nodding his head, before the camera shows Jeff again>

Jeff Probst: Jean-Robert, <short pause> do you think this tribe, in general, <The camera scrolls across several castaways> should be more candid with each other? <A close-up view of Jean-Robert is then shown next>

Jean-Robert: Well, <pause> you don't want to be the one who has an opinion that's different from everybody else in the tribe <Todd can be seen subtly nodding his head> or the one who really stirs up the waters, <Denise is then shown with a nervous look on her face> so I think right now, people are, for a lack of a better word, just playing it safe. <The camera switches angles to show Jean-Robert again> No one wants to stand out too much. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Courtney looking up. Jeff is now shown again>

Jeff Probst: Okay; <long pause> Aaron, why not get rid of you tonight? <Denise is shown looking towards Aaron> How would this tribe be better with you in it? <Aaron is then shown>

Aaron: I feel that I'm probably in the top two, uh, strongest guys in challenges, <The camera shows a close-up view of James> and <pause> I have another skill that they haven't seen yet, which is cooking, <Amanda is now shown smiling> so once we start getting some decent food, I would love to cook for these guys. <The camera scrolls back over to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Is it hard to vote someone out tonight, Leslie, <The camera now focuses in on Leslie> or is it just one of the facts of life in this game? <An eerie shift in the music occurs, as the camera shows Amanda> You come to Tribal Council; <short pause> you vote someone off… <Another view of Leslie is then shown, as she nods>

Leslie: It will be hard. Um, <pause> we absolutely don't want to be here; <The camera turns back to Aaron> you know, we've just come together for a few days and we're still getting to know each other, <Todd is now shown with a thoughtful look on his face> so it will be difficult, I'm sure, for all of us to see a tribe member go. <A close-up view of the central fire is shown, before the camera fades out to show Denise, and then goes back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Okay; <long pause> it's time to make your first big decision as a tribe: <Courtney is shown nodding her head> who to get rid of. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows an uncomfortable Aaron shifting his expression> One of you is about to become the first person voted out of Survivor: China. <Jean-Robert is then shown next> Let's find out who that is. <Another view of Jeff is now shown>

Jeff Probst: It's time to vote; <short pause> James, you're up. <James is now shown standing up and walking across the main Tribal Council area>

<The camera continues to focus on James for a few seconds, and then fades out to show a stone statue of a dragon. James now reaches the voting confessional, as he picks up the pen and uncaps it. The camera cuts ahead to show a clip of Denise arriving at the voting confessional. She begins to write a name down on her piece of parchment, before the camera shows her holding up her vote: Aaron>

Denise: I just don't like people who aren't fair, <The camera focuses in on an uncomfortable Aaron> especially when it comes to water and food. <A view of a flickering flame is then shown, before the camera switches angles to show a side view of Todd walking past the central fire, and then cuts ahead to show him placing his vote into the urn. Courtney is then shown looking around, before the camera shows a quick clip of Amanda folding her vote and placing it into the urn. A prominent drumbeat is then heard, as the camera shows Aaron holding his vote up: Courtney>

Aaron: Sorry, Courtney, <The camera now shows Courtney staring ahead> but Denise is a little bit stronger than you are, and <long pause> I don't really like you either, so you get my vote. <A close-up view of a piece of parchment is shown, as Leslie can be seen picking up the pen to cast her vote. A golden Buddha statue is then shown, as the camera scrolls around it and then cuts ahead to show Jean-Robert holding up his vote: Courtney>

Jean-Robert: We really need Aaron to win some of these Reward Challenges and Immunity Challenges, <The camera shows a close-up view of Aaron> so <pause> it makes the most sense from a strategic standpoint to eliminate Courtney tonight. <A clip of an uneasy Courtney is shown, before Jean-Robert is shown placing his folded vote into the urn. A wide view of the main Tribal Council area is shown next, as Courtney can be seen walking to the voting confessional. The camera then cuts ahead to show her holding up her vote: Aaron>

Courtney: If you're really as smart as you think you are, <Aaron can be seen staring ahead> you should see this coming… <The camera shows a view of a Chinese lantern, and then fades out to show Courtney returning to her seat, as a prominent sound is heard. The camera now turns to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the votes. <Jeff can be seen walking out of sight, as the camera switches angles to show a view of both Courtney and Denise. An oriental chant is then heard, as the camera shows Aaron staring down, and then switches angles to show Amanda. Jeff is now shown returning onto the screen with the voting urn in his hands>

Jeff Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. <The camera now shows another view of Denise> Person voted out'll be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. <A close-up view of Aaron is shown, as the camera focuses on him> I'll read the votes. <Jeff is now shown again, as he removes the lid from the urn>

Jeff Probst: <The camera shows Jeff reaching into the urn and pulling out the first vote> First vote: <Jeff now reveals the vote> Aaron. <A close-up view of an unfazed Aaron is shown. The camera shows a quick view of Jean-Robert, and then returns to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: <Jeff is then shown turning the second vote over, and revealing it to the castaways> Courtney. <The camera shows a clip of Courtney, and then zooms out to show a view of all eight Fei Long members> One vote Courtney; <short pause> one vote Aaron. <The camera zooms back in on Aaron, before going back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: <Jeff pulls the third piece of parchment out of the urn, and quickly glances at the vote before revealing it to the castaways> Aaron. <A wide view of Aaron, Denise, Leslie, and Todd is shown, as Aaron shifts his expression> Two votes Aaron; <Courtney is then shown again> one vote Courtney. <Jeff is then shown again with next vote in his hands>

Jeff Probst: <Jeff quickly reveals the fourth vote to the castaways> Courtney. <Courtney is then shown smirking knowingly, before the camera turns back to Jeff> We're tied: <short pause> two votes Courtney; <Courtney now shakes her head> two votes Aaron. <The camera shows a view of both Jean-Robert and Todd, and then scrolls back over to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: <The camera shows Jeff turning the next vote over, and revealing it to the castaways> Aron. <Aaron is then shown with an uncomfortable look on his face, as he nervously says "Hmm"> Three votes Aaron; <A quick view of Denise is then shown> two votes Courtney. <The camera shows Courtney again, and then cuts back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: <Jeff can now be seen pulling out the sixth vote and turning it over. He then reveals it to the castaways> Aaron "Smiley". <The camera shows a disappointed Aaron smiling knowingly> Four votes Aaron. <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera switches angles to show Courtney again, and then zooms out to show all eight Fei Long members>

Jeff Probst: <The music softens, as Jeff pulls the deciding vote out of the urn, unfolds it, and then stares at it for a quick second> First person voted out of Survivor: China: <A rapid view of a frustrated Jean-Robert is shown, before Jeff reveals the vote> Aaron. <The camera shows a close-up view of a confused Aaron, who now shakes his head in surprise. A relieved Courtney is then shown, before the camera turns to a gleaming Denise>

Jeff Probst: <to Aaron> That's five; <short pause> that's enough. <Aaron is then shown standing up> You need to bring me your torch. <The camera shows a wide view of the seven remaining Fei Long members, and then scrolls back over to a surprised Aaron>

Aaron: You guys just kept the weakest person instead of the strongest. <Courtney can now be seen making an annoyed face, as she shrugs her shoulders>

Courtney: <to Aaron> I'll go when I'm ready, dude… <A clip of both Leslie and Todd is shown, before the camera cuts ahead to show Aaron placing his torch into the slot in front of Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Aaron, <pause> the tribe has spoken. <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows Jeff snuffing out Aaron's torch>

Jeff Probst: <to Aaron> It's time for you to go. <Aaron gives a quick nod of his head. A sad-looking Amanda is shown waving to him, before the camera switches angles to show him walking out of the Tribal Council temple and continues to focus on him for a few seconds. A close-up view of Courtney is then shown, before the camera turns back to Jeff>

Jeff Probst: Well, <long pause> you survived your first Tribal Council, <A prominent sound is heard, as the camera shows a delighted Todd grinning> and for a tribe that talked about not coming back here again, you just voted out one of your strongest members. <Denise is then shown next> So the question now is: <short pause> how do you turn tonight's vote into something positive for this tribe? <Both Leslie and Amanda are now shown> It's only been three days; <short pause> anything can happen. <Another view of Jeff is then shown>
