I agree with this as well. Fiji was definitely the best with China in second, and I'm thinking Micronesia will once again be right around where China is. China will still be my favorite season (and the best, IMO), but I think that Micronesia does get #2, for right now anyway. I've been working on the recap of the season and there's a lot of things premerge I'm remembering that I really liked, and unlike Fiji, I don't think this season had any extended boring parts (only Episode 2, 7, and 13)... I appreciate you taking the time to reply every week and I always enjoy reading what you have to say (in other threads too, not just your fanfic comments)! Loved it. Great drama/story arc. Thank you. I think you will feel this way about the finale too. There are a lot of great storylines for the characters, and once I post my Editing Analysis, a lot of things will become clear about the story and characters that people might not have originally seen. Mary being a bitch. I enjoyed this too, although she was supposed to be even worse than she was. 9.4 Thank you for rating it this high - it really helped to keep the average into a very low 8 right now instead of a high 7. (A) What predictions do you have for the finale? Posts: 3670 (08/10/08 8:18 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I want to bring up something from ZombieLinda on Page 40 that was posted even before the season began... why do prejury peops always win? except stacy <3 I'm calling a Mikey B/Tracy victory right now! Looks like ZL was right on with this post. Although we obviously don't know who wins yet, Mikey and Tracy have been the two most dominant Fans and I was impressed that you called them from even before I'd posted anything about the season! As for your question about prejury people always winning: the Final Five consists of four prejury people in the real show (Brooke & Mikey = 4th out, Tracy = 7th boot, Mary = 2nd boot) and Eliza, so unless Eliza wins, it looks like this pattern will come true again. I still don't have an answer for it, but I think it's interesting and I'm glad that characters like Mikey, Tracy (and to a degree, Mary and Brooke), got more of a chance to shine here because I think this proves that they had a lot of potential, just like China did for Leslie, Dave, Sherea, etc. Anyways, I just wanted to go back to this post now and we'll see if you were right with your Mikey/Tracy prediction...

Eliza/Brooke win immunity and take Mikey out. Eliza/Brooke, two females who are both in their own respects unlikeable, forcing the jury to pick between them? There is at least ONE major (and realistic) possibility other than Tracy winning, but as I've said before, either this will be the most obvious winner yet or the biggest shock yet. For the record, a lot more people predicted Leslie than Dave.

Mikey's bitching about how unfair it was to compete against the favorites could definitely work against him because it's basically setting him up as physically incapable of winning the game. 2. The talk of Eliza targetting Earl because he was friends with Brooke continues a theme we saw in the boot of Sherea and partially the boot of Ian, which shows that Eliza has had more control than Brooke, booting HER allies.

I really enjoyed reading it since I haven't seen all of the episodes (though I'll hopefully finish all of the ones that are up before the finale...). I thought I'd tell you (briefly) what I thought about the first four episodes, since I've finished reading those. Dave boot episode: I thought it was an okay episode...about a 7 (which is still good). I think the rest of the season (besides episode two) is much better. But I know that with all of the character development, it is necessary to have some of these types of episodes. Since I've read your China fanfic, I could appreciate the Dave/Sherea conflict. Very happy Dave went home before Sherea! :) Chet boot episode: Another 7...I liked it, but not my favorite. Again, I understand with all of the character development. Very happy Chet went home. :) Erik boot episode: 9! I loved it. I like how close Jason, Tracy, and Kathy are...especially how that wasn't true in the real show. I thought the voting was awesome! I'm glad I actually saw something out of Ruth Marie this episode, I really like (what I've seen) of her. Sad Erik went home...but a overall wonderful episode! Natalie boot episode: 8. Bit sad to see the Airai tribe keep on losing... I also enjoyed the blindside, and I liked how you edited Natalie. I really enjoyed reading this episode! :) I'll comment on the other three episodes that I haven't read (Earl, Ruth Marie, Ami, and Terry boots) before the finale if you don't mind. The season is really starting to come together for me now, because of reading these earlier episodes...and I'm starting to get really excited about the finale! :) PS: I like Mary a lot more now...I feel sorry for hating her so much before...

Anything will help and will be greatly appreciated! COMMENTS & QUESTIONS (A) What did you think of this episode? Please be as detailed as you can, wherever possible. Pretty good episode overall. I gotta admit I kind of saw the three-way tie coming after your little clue, but it was very cool and executed very well by Tracy and Mikey. Definitely wished Mary could've gone, though it was nice to see the two girls finally emerge as something other than Aras's followers. I really liked the family challenge and reward. I understand it takes up a lot of room to write about stuff like that. Maybe next time you could do a loved one staying at camp, like Kathy's son? Immunity Challenge was cool, always loved those legend challenges that really makes you listen. Plus it was great to see Mikey win. Hopefully Eliza and Brooke won't be too angry at M/T for their move. But even if they are, it's the Fans' game to lose in my opinion. (B) What was your overall favorite part of the episode? Either the Immunity Challenge or Tribal Council. It was great seeing Brooke, Eliza, Mary, and Alexis's reactions to that. I'm sure I'd be shocked if I was in their position. Something I noticed from the Immunity Challenge. When Jeff was talking about Uab, camera shots corresponded to his legs (Tracy), his stomach (Mikey), and his head (Eliza). Editing leading to an Airai win, possibly? (C) What would you rate this episode out of 10? (1 being the lowest; 10 being the highest) I'd give it an 8. It was good, definitely above average for a penultimate episode. But still not fantastic. (D) Do you have any questions about this episode that you'd like to see cleared up in a future episode or at the Reunion Show? Alexis/Mary: Why not join up with the others against the other girl? Sooner or later, you have to go against each other. You might as well buy yourself one more vote and have a chance at becoming a critical swing vote at the Final 5 (which Mary might happen to be in now). 1. PREDICT THE FINALE (A) What predictions do you have for the finale? Alright, two possible scenarios: SCENARIO 1 Fifth place - Mary. In the Boo/Adam positions in the real Fiji/Cook Islands. Basically she's an outcast and the alliance of 4 easily gets rid of her. Either that or Brooke plays the Hidden Immunity Idol and any votes deflect onto Mary. Fourth place - Eliza. In a very tense deadlock tie between her and Mikey/Tracy, the Fan wins in the firemaking contest. Third place - Tracy. I'm still convinced there's a final challenge to eliminate someone. Tracy loses and goes to the jury. Either that or they just don't get enough votes in a Final 3 situation. Second place - Brooke. The story of how Brooke lost, since the season preview talked about the Favorites falling apart. Winner - Mikey. I HOPE! SCENARIO 2 Fifth place - Eliza/Brooke. Either Brooke plays the HII and M/T side with Mary and vote out Eliza. Or Brooke pulls a Frosti and gives the idol to Eliza, only to be voted out by M/M/T. Fourth place - Mary. Her storyline is not great, plus they would have no need for her. Third place - Either Mikey or Tracy. Once again, either the elimination by final challenge or not enough jury votes. Second place - Brooke. Once again, how Brooke lost. First place - Either Mikey or Tracy. Honestly, the editing points to a fan and a post-swap Airai winning. (B) Do you have any other general predictions or speculation about how the jury will vote? Who will be the most bitter? etc. Ian - Would definitely vote for Tracy/Mikey. He'd probably be one of the most bitter, since he didn't get voted out on his own accord for once. Probably lean more towards Mikey than Tracy. Kathy - Definitely a vote for Tracy. If she's not on the jury, then Mikey. Sherea - I'd still say a vote for Brooke. She probably won't be that angry and will honor Brooke's game. Aras - Another vote for Mikey/Tracy. He would not honor Brooke turning on him. Like Ian, probably Mikey over Tracy. Alexis - Definitely not a vote for Brooke. Honestly a toss-up between Mikey and Tracy. I give the slight edge to Tracy. Eliza - Brooke. Brooke all the way. Mary - I'm going to probably say Mikey over Tracy. Not sure though, she might vote with Alexis. [Mikey/Tracy] - It really depends on the circumstances. I mean in the season review Tracy did say only Final 3, so they shouldn't be that bitter. I expect one to cast a vote for the other if it is Final 2. 2. POPULARITY POLL (A) Please rate each castaway's popularity from 1-10. 1 is the lowest score, while 10 is the highest. Please try to base your ratings only on the likeability of the characters in my story, not how they appeared on the real show. They were great as usual...I'll just share some quick thoughs with you if you don't mind... :) Earl boot episode: I liked how you mixed up the tribes. It kindof confused me at first, but then I got it. I would've been completely floored by the blindside had I not skimmed the episodes earlier to try to catch up with this season to comment. Greatly written, as usual! I'll give it a 9... Ruth Marie and Ami boot episode: Wow...two good votes...I thought Airai's tribal council was good, but so was Malakal's. Double boot episodes aren't my favorite, but this one wasn't too bad. I like both Ruth Marie and Ami, and so it was hard for me to see them go. 8 for this episode (still really good)! :) Terry boot episode: Yes! You know how much I love Eliza, so I was pulling for her the whole time. They obviously made the correct decision. I thought it was great when you foreshadowed Joel getting taken out when you said something along the lines of "Joel closely missing cutting his hand while opening a coconut," or something along those lines in the grey text. I was sorry to see Airai keep on losing though... 9 for this episode! Again, I'm really excited for the finale... It's actually a rival for the number one spot with your China fanfic for me...which I find surprising. I thought nothing could beat that one! But we'll see... :)

Posts: 3805 (08/15/08 9:17 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	5th Place: Eliza Brooke & Eliza are still gung-ho about booting the outsider Mary, but Tracy and Mikey decide that now's the perfect time to split up the Brooke/Eliza pair. Knowing that Brooke has the HII, they target Eliza. Mary is more than happy to form (what they all think will be) a one-shot "Fans Alliance" with Tracy/Mikey and boot Eliza. Brooke will most likely play the HII, since (I think) it expires once the game gets down to the F4. Now, Brooke may have the foresight to predict a possible Mikey/Tracy betrayal and give Eliza the HII to spring on them at TC, but I don't think that's going to happen. 4th Place: Brooke I'm really going to go out on a limb here and say that Mary wins immunity, throwing a monkey wrench into the works. The "Fans Alliance" of Tracy/Mikey/Mary is pretty much forced to hold together and they send the last favorite packing. F3: Mary, Mikey, Tracy Well, look at that...an all-fans final that no one was expecting. I can't really predict what will happen at this point...maybe we'll see another F3 vote, maybe there will be a F2, and the twist will be that the final immunity winner will also be able to dismiss a juror. At any rate, it should be interesting to see how it all plays out.
