I'm curious about how far are you into making the season?

Good question, SFC! It's hard to give an estimate because what I've done for the last three seasons is make all the word documents in "skeleton" form, and then I write bits and pieces or full scenes as I come up with them rather than writing one episode at a time, so I have a few pages done in every episode. Obviously the first few episodes have more progress than that, and I always write the challenges last. Episode 1 is completely done except for the Immunity Challenge. Episode 2 is just about done except for the challenges. Episode 3-5 have a few good scenes done. Episode 8 has some scenes done, and then after the merge, it's more sporadic. I plan on working on it in my free tmie pretty much non-stop from the 15th to Christmas, so I still expect to have about 5 episodes fully done before the premiere on the 29th.

Isn't the pattern already broken with Stacy and Candice? Anyway, I'm gonna take a wild guess and go with either Michelle or Jacquie.

Hello Zhan Hu! Yes, but 5/7 of my winners so far have been pre-jury boots on the real show: Brandon, Tina, JP, Dave, and Tracy. Brandon made the merge but not the jury. It's not a pattern that's worked for every season, but it's happened more often than not.

Thanks for those great questions, YemaGrl1988. I can tell that you're really going to like this season - I know you asked about the animals/location before bc you wanted to see those things in the episodes, and you won't be disappointed.

I have another question that I would like to get a few people's opinions on: I am considering packaging the first two episodes as a two hour premiere like the real show did because it will give me an extra 2-3 pages due to lack of a recap and opening credits. However, I would still want a separate comments for each part with different 1-10 ratings, popularity, and Edgic especially.

1) Would you guys find it to be too much all at once, and would it deter you from answering the comment survey?

2) Would reading one part influence your ratings/comments of the other?

I mean, ideally people would comment on "Episode 1" before reading the second part of it, but I know some of you would read the whole thing at once and then comment, so I'm just trying to figure out if a two-hour premiere would work.

Any thoughts and opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

I meant, the kind of premiere Gabon had was kinda confusing. Instead of merging two episodes into one, you should just make two seperate episodes.

I was planning on merging them like the show did, but I think I'll just do it like usual now.

I think a two hour premier would be cool, but would probably lower the number of people reading your fanfic starting off. I would certainly read and comment on both... and would personally prefer to have the two hour premier as in the show. Overall it might be best not to do that though for your other viewers.

On a seperate note, I plan on making my personal edgic chart for this season to keep up with my ratings, tones, and visibilities... and on having my own winner predictions.

That will be great to see how your chart compares to my "official one."

I guess 2 episodes in 1 would get confusing, but how about putting 2 episodes at one time? It's basically what they did in the real show, as they labelled them as different episodes. And removed the Final Words (not here, though), and Recap and Intro.

Thank you for offering your thoughts. I might decide to put up two, but my concern would be that that would reduce the number of comments on one episode or the other. I'll make a final decision once both eps are fully done, but more than likely, I'll just do one at a time like usual.
