Remove this ad Since countdown lists seem to be all the rage lately, I decided to make one of my own. I was going to wait until Gene was done with his, but he seems to be taking forever. Call me old fashioned but I don't like comparing men and women, thus there will be two seperate gender lists. Which means a total of 40 castaways. There are many things I took in account. Wether it was by personal taste, because they were big characters, the way the played the game or because I met them in RL and wanted to bang them. All the reasons in the book were considered as I made this list. I know a lot of you will violently disagree with most of my choices and I actually hope so.

I would totally jump on the bandwagon but everybody knows all my favorites already.

Posts: 13414 (12/12/07 10:58 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	20 Gary Hogeboom (Guatemala) When the cast of Guatemala was first released, Gary was immidiately deemed to be the next Tom Westman. He did try. As he arrived in the game, Gary immidiately took on the leadership role. But unlike the kids of Koror, the young peeps of Yaxha didn't seem very eager to have a leader and were too busy worshipping StepheME anyways. Add to this, the tribe shuffle, Gary's role as a leader was quickly downplayed. Though he still managed to stay in control and create a new circle of friends, amongst them, the very woman who blurted out his true identity. Gary was very much diplomatic, put a lid on both his arrogance and his Christian values and whatnot. But where he gained major points with me is when he called out StepheME's fanclub as he was clearly the only one at that point free of her spell. His "autograph" comment will go down in Survivor history and has earned him a spot on this countdown. Michelle Yi (Fiji) It seemed like it was ages ago since we had a genuine, spunky, perky sweetheart and when Fiji fisrt aired, our prayers where finally answered. Michelle was even dubbed by certain people as the Asian Colleen. She was the type of girl whom it seemed like you could tell her her dad was dead, that she had hepititus C or that her house burned down, yet nothing would wipe away that smile of hers. Never complaining, always enthusiastic, we wanted her to go all the way, but sadly, Burnett had other plans when he threw that stupid twist which screwed her over. Because of that she didn't leave a huge impact on the show as she probably would've if things went according to plan. And who could ever forget her little fumble during the challenge, on which she immidiately picked herself up with a smile as if nothing ever happned. One word: cute!

Posts: 13419 (12/12/07 11:32 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	19 Matthew Von Ertfelda (Amazon) Yeah, I'll admit one of the main reasons Matt made this list is because I felt guilty for not having any Amazonians in it so I squeezed him in (hated everyone that season). Still, Matt was by far the most redeemable of the bunch. He was a very interesting character, like a hybrid of many Survivor personalities. Un underdog, a dominating alpha male, a social outcast, sometimes endearing, sometimes sociopathic/psychotic, he was quite unique. Just about everyone could relate to him from jocks who liked him for his challenge PWNAGE to social misfits who sympathized with him not fitting in the high school clique alliance. But that very concept caught up to him as he got manipulated by the computer nerd, then sluaghtered by the prom queen, giving way to one of the most humiliating Survivor defeats ever. Misty Giles (Panama) I realize there will be some hardcore disagreeance for including someone who was voted out by episode 3 and didn't have a hardcore personality, but I was a Misty fan before the season began and I'm an even bigger fan now. Misty will always be for me personally the biggest "could have been". She had it all, beauty, brains, mental toughness and the good ol' "spread your legs" strategy to manipulate the men. She was immidiately sent on Exile Island where your average prissy girl would've cried for daddy, but Misty didn't. She toughed it out and had no problem eating worms for protein. Sadly, she was dealt a terrible card when she landed in Terry's no vayjay allowed club. I would be lying if I said I'm not a bit biased in her favor after meeting her in RL. She was one of the sweetest, most naturally gorgeous girl I have ever met. Not to mention very self-disciplined (doesn't smoke, drink, wakes up early to do her joggin etc.) Needless to say she is the earliest boot to make my list.

Gary's one of my favorites too though, largely because of his shit talking on Stephanie. As I understand it he's pretty religious though, which is a huge turn off for me. Still, his assholy behavior is in the right place.
