Posts: 5 (12/13/07 1:39 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i cant add n e friends. i go to add them it says it added them i go to my profile and they aint there. i try to add them again it asks if i want to disconnect from them. private messages as well seem to fucking escape me just the same. it says i have unread messages and messages in my inbox. however when i click said boxes i get a message at the top that says aint shit in that box. i can write a message to someone and in the sent box it was say there is a message but when i click it i get the same "no messages here asshole" message at the top of the page i dunno wtf is goin on can someone xplain this shit to me in very simple retard proof terms. thankz

What's happening is that after you take the action (add a friend, click on the inbox, send a message, whatever), your next click is taking you back to a cached page, which is the version of the page from some previous time. Sometimes just hitting refresh (the button on the browser tool bar) helps with this, but sometimes you have to clear out your cache. Also, this is a moderated forum. The posts don't show up until a mod or admin releases them. Please don't start your thread four times next time.

Posts: 6 (12/13/07 3:09 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	k sorry about the quadruple post's im sure its written somewhere that this is a moderated forum, least it should be, and i just missed it. i tried clearing the cache and it didnt help at all. i switched browsers, i hit refresh, danced around the monitor chanting in tongues, sacrificed a goat, begged god for forgiveness, made a deal with the devil....... nothing helped. it still says i have messages i cant get to and no friends. its very depressing. i need some real help. im sure its something really fucking simple and im really fucking stupid..... but clearing the cache isnt it
