I liked how they gave money for each person eliminated instead of how they do it now. I don't really like this new format either.

Who else here got the 13th amendment question correct?
The lady who picked Kentucky had her logic backward. For a state to have delayed ratification for so long, it had to have been deep in the slave trade. Heavy slave trade = deep south, and Mississippi is the only state that fits. |

I totally would pick Mississippi over Kentucky.. a lot of the civil right marches were in Miss.
I think they are keeping the ones he introduces..Oscar, Richard, those triplets and the comedienne |

I still hate it...loved the first season's 2nd format. Now it kinda sucks. The keeping of the Mob members was the kicker.

I thought Kentucky may have been right because Mississippi seemed obvious. Is Missouri considered the Deep South? That's what the woman who chose

Missouri has never been considered deep South and most people don't even consider it South, geographically or culturally. Even if the guy wasn't aware
of Mississippi's reputation as the most ass-backwards state in the real dirty South, he should've recognized that Kentucky was always part of the South
and Missouri wasn't. Or maybe he should've suspected the reticence of the girl who answered Mississippi. It doesn't pay for the mob to be
particularly helpful when the contestant uses one of their helps (especially when there's $250,000 at stake). Seems more likely that a crafty mob member
would give a half-assed reason for their answer than a deliberate, elaborate misdirection.

I was actually thinking the opposite, I thought Mississippi was too obvious to be the right answer. Of the three I would have guessed Missouri since they had never been a slave state (that I know of), so they might not have ratified it just because it wasn't an issue for them. Once they got the help and Missouri was eliminated I knew it was Mississippi, but that's just because I am from Kentucky and I knew that wasn't it. |

How could that guy with an IQ of 195 not have breezed through those questions ?? I don't understand why he needed any of his helps. But I did like the fact
that he got right to the point & was pretty relaxed.

That, that woman.. she used 2 helps on the 1st question?? I couldn't watch her anymore after that. She was just so painful. Debating back and forth on the
most obvious questions. Excruciating. Grammy.. Microphone, something else and Gramaphone. Gee I wonder which it could be!??
