And considering that All Stars was a duel win, we may not even consider that in the data.
Tina: quiet edit, good player toward the end
Vee: quiet player, won due to bitterness of the jury
Jenna: negative edit, won due to petty high school type dynamics
Sandra: good player, great personality, won due to sitting next to a "ghost"
Amber: see above
Danni: nearly invisible edit; won because she was a lovable underdog whose story we never were shown
So what is it with the ladies on Survivor? Why so few winners? Why such quiet edits for those who have won overall? Can a female ever win this show again? Is it the people they cast? Is is biological/psychological? Is it the structure of the game itself? Does it reflect society at large?
It's worth a good hard look and has been mentioned, yet no detailed thread has been made about it. It seems to be the right time since we are now 6-1 male-female since ASS.
Just some questions to ponder and discuss in the short off season we have.
