After watching Liz and Natalie helplessly give into the fact that one of them would leave because there was no way a guy was leaving reveals why women have not
been more successful.

Then why was Liz the one chosen to hold up the basket of coconuts last week instead of Nat? Liz is the one truly kicking ass so far on Foa.Perhaps because Natalie is better at shooting baskets. "Strength" is shorthard for overall challenge ability. |

Once again, all the women have bought into the BS that they have to vote off other women to keep the tribe strong. So it's Nat vs Liz and Monica vs Shambo
by default. Meanwhile, the guys get to boot whoever is less threatening.
Parvati and Cirie, on the other hand, were willing to target men and strong people on both their seasons premerge. Timber Tina, Bob Dawg, JP, Brad, Yau-man, and Joel.

Well, when there are three guys and two girls, and none of the guys will vote each other out, they don't really have a lot of options. They should have
been thinking about that all along, because now it's pretty much too late.

It might not have worked out but Nat & Liz should have at least tried.

Yeah, it was painful watching them surrender like that. The first mistake was made in the first episode. Once they voted off Marisa instead of Mike, it all
went downhill from there.

Everyone on Foa Foa (except maybe Russell) seems to have lost the will to win.

Women cant win because the women who can dominate the merge cant make it to the merge.

Kubin wrote: Its why we need an early merge for once! :P These long, extended pre-merges really screw over the women. They're lucky that 2 guys have been evacuated, or we'd have something similar to Fiji again where only a couple of guys left pre-merge, leaving like 2 women around post-merge. |

The whole "Extended Pre-merge stage screws over women" thing is a load of bullshit. There have been plenty of female players that were targeted
pre-merge that were able to turn it around and save themselves and go deep into the game.
The reason women are getting voted out more frequently now is in direct correlation with my earlier thought in this thread - the type of women they are casting. Look back at the earlier seasons, there wasn't nearly as many women getting voted out early on as it is now because the women back then (I'm talking probably Vanuatu and every season before then) had the brains and an exceptionally good grasp of game itself. The cast of women now all keep trending younger and younger, and dumber and dumber. They lack common sense, aggressiveness, and any sort of grasp of the actual game of Survivor itself. I think its pitiful that female players are listing the likes of Parvati or Amanda as players they want to replicate instead of far better or smarter winners (Tina, Vee, Sandra, Jenna) or just female players in general (Kathy V., Theresa, Kelly W., Twila, Eliza, Taj, Peih Gee, Crystal). As my earlier post stated - CAST BETTER WOMEN!

^^^^Exactly!!! It seems like they're casting more and more women whose sole strategy is to flirt and fly UTR. Probably my favorite season to watch over and
over is Vanuatu, because that was the last time everyone really played the game hard. And the women on that season were awesome, even if none of them won.
The other thing to keep in mind is that EPMB DOESN'T CARE who wins. And he sure as heck isn't keeping some quota on who wins. The only thing anyone in TV cares about is ratings, which means getting more casual viewers (ie, not us) to watch the show. And that means casting good looking bimbos and himbos to walk around in bathing suits and "characters" they hope will breakout. I suppose we can thank Rupert for that dreadful phenomenon. |

Vanuatu is no where near my favorite season but it really was the last season of Survivor where it seemed like every single female player KNEW how the game went and were there fighting to win against the men and the other women. |

Vanuatu was a great season, and it stands out in my mind as feeling a lot different than most other seasons.

Yea, that was gonna be my next thing. They go through all this trouble of casting all these nice bodied bimbo's or himbo's then they end up neglecting
or out right ignoring them in the editing for multiple episodes or an entire season, so why cast them in the first place?
Clearly they're too boring or have no idea what they're doing that they can't even get at least one confessional in an episode. |

What's the point of casting eye candy if you aren't even going to show them?! But yeah, models who happened to have played some sports when they were younger is MUCH different than women who are active, play sports regularly, go camping, have been in the military or had training, etc. They make these models out to be super athletes because they were on the basketball team in middle school. |
