Middle name - Elaine. Always hated it, so I chose to follow the southern tradition of dropping your middle name and using your maiden name as your middle name after you are married. I have a much prettier monogram now. Confirmation name - Rita, after the church that my parents grew up in and got married in. Also the patron saint of impossible causes. |

My middle name now is my maiden name.
My daughter's middle name is my maiden name. My given middle name on my birth certificate is Ruth. Old ladyish but I was named after a rich elderly aunt with no children of her own. Cha Ching! My parents weren't dummies. |
