I thought he did a great job this season with Californication. That series could really give him a career again. Since he hasn't had one in a while.
He would be better if he could lose the monotone delivery. |

He's an actor who was never all that talented, but did get the job of a lifetime, a role that he was perfect for, then David Caruso style (as a poster
above me already stated) the guy thought he was much bigger than he actually was, and left the show for what he expected to be a great movie career but
wasn't because he was never all that talented in the first place. And his leaving the X-Files was the main factor in the show completely blowing up and
getting cancelled so he couldn't even go back to what made him a star.
Although to be fair to DD, he was 100% right about Fox royally screwing him over with the FX syndication thing. Gillian Anderson was the X-Files star I always thought would could be a very prominent, perhaps even Oscar level actress but of course she completely dropped off the face of the Earth too :P |
