good time. but undies, the race was GREAT. gayjay couldn't even get the lucky dog. and as far as my fatansy game, remember, my big strategy was to save kyle bush for the end and sweep y'all about now. I saw parts of the race at Old Chicago and was laughing about GayJay getting lapped :) Old Chicago is an awesome bar/restaurant that has great pizza and food.
You can also do the world beer tour and drink 102 different beers and get some sort of prize (My friends boyfriend completed it). I'm allergic to beer so
that screws that.
Changeling was actually quite good. They could've tidied up the ending a bit, but it went in a totally different direction than I thought it would. My boyfriend was kind of apathetic about seeing it, but he enjoyed it as well. |

Anybody want to bet that of all the NASCAR drivers, personnel, etc., you could count the number of them who voted/will vote for anybody but McCain on one hand?
They're notorious for voting Republican.

You've got that right, frito! Case in point: at least three of us in this thread. I'm not crazy about Obama, but to me he's the lesser of two
evils. However, I am not pleased that I have to find somewhere else to park tonight because I live one block inside the huge no-parking zone around downtown
Chicago before and during his rally!
I was poking around online and saw that something like 35% of race fans are Republicans and 28% are Democrats. What about the other 37%? Even more interesting is that, according to a USA today blog and another site I read, Junior Johnson -- yes, one of the major NASCAR historical figures -- volunteered for Obama/Biden. I also checked opensecrets.org and saw that at least two big-name drivers contributed to Giuliani's campaign. I assume they switched their support to McCain once Rudy dropped out. |
