I was in Vegas this past July 4th during the worst heatwave ever.
I have been to Vegas about 5 times so I am acustomed to the heat, but this last time when I walked outside of the airport terminal for one split second my mind played a trick on me. I thought, wow they mustve had a cold snap because they have the heat lamps on as I thought I was standing under one. It wasnt a freakin heat lamp, it was the HEAT. Yeah, I felt like an idiot. |

heat there. It was like 117, which was so odd because the pool water was freeeeeeeeeeeeeezing cold.

My helicopter flight down to the Grand Canyon floor was canceled because the temp in the canyon was 140 deg. Unsafe for helicopter flight.
