Well that was not surprising... but masturbating for a camera, putting it on the internet two or three times, claiming it was your "private" situation or what have you of course makes me wonder if that guy should vote or well live either. Although hearing Barbara say disgustingly "masturbate on the internet" was worth it.

But Stossels manipulations aside.. we do not value intellect in this country and we confuse our ability to manipulate technology as some type of measure of intelligence... NO.. again a quick tour of OT should confirm this..

Education was not designed originally to educate it was to provide training and screening for those who have the right be it birthright or through Darwinian means to move on to the higher order.. those not so fortunate.. hey fries with that? But now we have even taken that away as we discovered "Mexicans" Seriously this trickle down economics is not working, and now we will have Nationalized banks.

I didn't think the show was all that great considering it was the week of the Infomercial Town Hall Meetup, the continuing bailout of the economy and the need for that strange man to somehow giggle incessantly like a school grade girl on Red Bull.. Bill shows his ignorance on economic issues and when Dana Gould is the smart one on the panel we needed him to direct the conversation.

Watching Bill Moyers with Kathleen Jamison review the history of attack ads last night did a much better job of demonstrating the intent and what they do... she said the same thing was that we as voters have to try to understand the actual imperative and if they are RELATIVE to the message.. and from what she showed last night the answer to that was NO... these are distractions, meaningless and often founded in lies and misrepresentations.. we have to stop their use.. they need to become illegal and we also need caps on the amount of spending PERIOD... what these people spend on ads/campaigns could fucking get the nations debt reduced... this is just plain wrong.

And yes people are STUPID which is why they believe this... and if they were allowed to perhaps hear concrete information and learn to process it properly then it might raise their awareness and allow them to make decisions based on facts... we have kids in the 7th grade who have no ideas who Obama is running with but they chant O B A M A like a druken mantra... great but seriously what if it was the "other guy" who we all don't like.. its possible and disturbing. But then teachers would have to teach and parents would have to parent.. god forbid... it makes me miss my dysfunctional family dinners as a child when we had to actually talk about the news and the world.. my parents insane but they loved the news and being foreigners they loved foreign news... the world they believed was just as important as America and they loved America.. you can be a patriot and be intelligent.. VIVA LA JOHN ADAMS, VIVA THOMAS JEFFERSON.. VIVA LA NEW REVOLUTION...
