Also about Carries Album sales are you aware that all album sales for legit artists are down, I guess you wouldn't care because your fave isn't even on the radar as far as sales are concerned. All artists start out in smaller venues dip shit, at least Carrie is pulling in thousands and not dozens. She is actually doing as well as alot of established touring artists. And since you brought her up, as far as Taylor Swift goes who gives a shit about her? Little girls and Tweens, what happens to her when the next one comes up? It's the natural cycle of things.

Last Name doesn't seem to be doing much for sales and probably won't unless it crosses over like BHC did...which is I'm sure what they are hoping for since her sales for some hearts were slowing down just as that song got picked up by Top 40 radio... Just a Dream won't sell a boat load either, esp not if they release it during the summer which is when her next single is due for release...

Kelly was slow to get hers i guess I can't think that far back I just know Carrie got hers out in record time and it was a hit even though so rushed I just go by AI 1 winner and AI4 winner and that's 3 years tween shows reguardless love the new video and she needs more like it. A video for Just a Dream is going to NOT be peppy like this video is.

Carrie has only recently become a good/decent live performer... Kelly is a natural... she won people over with her music and her personality... it seems that most people focus on Carrie's looks more than her actual talent.... that doesn't bode well for her future IMO.. I'm not sure why you continue to rag on Taylor Swift if you truly believe that Carrie is so far above her. Taylor has earned her success through hard work and persistence...she didn't have anything handed to her..she's not on some big money label like Arista...Taylor has sold almost 3 million CDs in the U.S. based on the strength of songs she wrote herself...that's called an artist... Carrie is more of a product...easily replaced when the shelf life expires.. The video is stupid IMO... it makes Carrie look pathetic and desperate for any man... also could they be more blatant that they are trying to recapture the magic that BHC created? This song and video pale in comparison to the original.... and where did the pinto go that they drove to Vegas?? oh yeah...gotta tie in the big red truck and remind everyone they are supposed to love this song like they did BHC.. Carrie needs a new director..Roman is very one dimensional when it comes to her.... get the beauty shot...shake your hair Carrie... look into the camera.... lather/rinse/repeat... how stale..

People need to stop reading too much into things I swear. kelly has fought for artistic integrity.... carrie pretty much goes along to get along imo... and sorry Carrie sitting in a writer's convention @ the rhyman (sp?) auditorium with a buch of professional writers who had been asembled and moving from group to group while THEY write the songs isn't exactly "writing" unless you subscribe to the Ashlee Simpson school of writing that is and whether Carrie is as good (which I think she is) or not isn't the point... the point is Carrie had an easier road paved out for her.... that's a benefit that Kelly didn't have so her success, while equal to Carrie, is IMO more impressive because of everything she had to overcome to get there... First the song wasn't representative of Carrie and now the video isn't either? so wtf is Carrie doing? Doesn't she have a genuine bone in her body? Can't she put anything of her REAL self into her work? The video is stupid IMO...I mean in it Carrie picks up some guy in a club who clearly doesn't think enough of Carrie to keep his eyes off of every other woman in the room...and she actually NOTICES him flirting with a girl at their wedding but marries him ANYWAY? the video doesn't even go with the song cuz at the end of the song Carrie takes the pinto and the $$ and hits the road without him...
