Is is that fucking boring in KCville?

As for Carrie getting more promotion than Kelly, it has nothing to do with learning a lesson. Carrie has a more pleasing face, body and her music appeals to the general public more than the "Alanis Morisette/Amy Lee" wannabe.
Magazines love her because she "sells". Simply put.


WTF, it's starting to sound like a broken record again with the "Kelly had to prove herself" schtick. The only thing Kelly's proving lately is that the public and media is losing interest in her. She's sinking pretty fast in terms of her celebrity appeal!

I sense sour grapes again rising up.

Oh yeah, I forgot, Kelly is famous everywhere else BUT America. Or is she just famous in Australia?

3 years? Thankful came out 4/15/03.... Carrie won Idol in May 2005... that's not three years by my calendar.... Not to mention Carrie has been promoted far more effectively than Kelly ever has been.... probably because they learned valuable lessons from what they did with Kelly in the beginning.

Last Name doesn't seem to be doing much for sales and probably won't unless it crosses over like BHC did...which is I'm sure what they are hoping for since her sales for some hearts were slowing down just as that song got picked up by Top 40 radio... Just a Dream won't sell a boat load either, esp not if they release it during the summer which is when her next single is due for release...

What buzz? I don't think it was THAT newsworthy. I think the media was a bit more interested in the POPE's stop in the U.S. , not Kelly "what's she been doing lately" Clarkson.

So Kelly sings Ave Maria (something she's done in High School) in the choir (big stretch) and afterwards, she fades into obscurity once more.

I've got to agree with Shyster - the only buzz about Kelly singing for the Pope happened on the fanboards. It was a big deal to her fans - to everyone else, not so much.

Nah, it's people like you that are gullible to read these articles and people chiming in making a bigger deal out of someone's choice of a vegetarian and healthy diet and one who is always wanting to make sure she looks good for herself and the public, unlike fat slob Yelly.

I think she actually looks like she's gained weight from pics of last year. Whatever works for her, it's working since she's got the energy to perform night after night on her tour.

If you all want to worry about a non-existent eating disorder or mental disorder, be my guest.

Carrie Underwood's Weight Drama

Carrie Underwood has people concerned that she's taken her healthy eating habits too far. After admitting in recent interviews that she dropped 20 pounds, Carrie, 25, is again talking about weight in the May issue of InStyle saying, "I'm contect with 90 percent of me."

Since she started out on American Idol in 2005, Carrie's hired a trainer and dropped three dress sizes, going from a size 8 to a 2. "She came to the show not knowing what Manolo Blahniks were," an Idol insider tells OK!. "She won, and it became abot what designer she was wearing, how her hair looked and that she was an 'average-sized girl.' She hated the mean things people said about her weight, and when she stressed she nibbled on cookies and chips."

Carrie tells OK!, "I put pressure on myself to look good because I'd look at message boards and people would be like 'Carrie's fat.'"

She confessed to InStyle that she's an emotional eater: "Ice cream is my friend. If anybody sees me eating a sundae and I look unhappy, something bad has happened. I am drowning my sorrows in fudge and caramel and whipped cream."

Carrie told pals she started eating healthier food when she saw herself on TV. She tells InStyle: " i think about what I look like probably more than I should. Some days I step out of the shower, put on my lotion and I'l be like, 'Ugh, ew, ew.'" She added, "I count calories, fat and fiber. If I put on five pounds, it's noticed immediately."

Dietician Dr. Sharon Richter, who does not treat Carrie, tells OK!, "From Carrie's quotes, I think she could have dysmorphic disorder, where you don't see your body as it is. She still sees herself as heavy when she's thin."
