It's nice that Carrie is trying to rock out, but she didn't pull it off. She has potential. I can see why they went with LN I will give you the TY at the end-- it was very very hard to see & it's debatable... However the second song-- there was no crowd appreciation. She smiled and pulled at her dress, but no curtsy and no bowing of the head. I can see the blogger's point.. All in all it's her opinion. Perhaps that wasn't enough in the blogger's opinion. That's what they were saying. I myself am a singer and am taught to bow, nod of the head ---to ACKNOWLEDGE your audience AND your accompanist (or band) in both videos Carrie didn't do that either... It's an opinion & we are all entitled to our own. By acting like this, Tiger, you become like a claymate & get your panties in a ruffle anytime someone says something negative about Carrie. Chill out-- it was her opinion...

The bloggers perception of Carrie's attitude is born out of their own experience, just as all opinions are I assume. When the blogger watched Carrie she saw an arrogant and ungrateful person and she commented on it. It's her blog, her opinion and her right to do so. That doesn't mean she's right or wrong and for the Carrietards to inundate her blog with nasty messages, as they clearly did, is pathetic. Some Country albums saw gains in sales this week.. Taylor was up 16% and three spots Sugarland was up 6% and for spots.. Meanwhile Carrie's album slipped another 3 spots on the sales chart and dropped another 10% in sales... what do you suppose that means? eta: does Carrie do band introductions at the end of her concerts? if so is there video? Here is the size most are before they were put in the slideshow Some are 1600x1200 or 1024 too I just didn't want 35 images that were close to 700k loading on people. Sugarland & Taylor Swift have singles that are climbing the charts. That probably has a lot to do with why they have an increase in sales. On the other hand, CU has more audience impressions for LN and is ranked HIGHER (oh & plus it reached "#1" remember it was only for a moment) but her album is still not selling. What do you suppose that means?

What do you suppose that means? I think it means that people already own Some Hearts and have no reason to need Some Hearts v 2.0 so they aren't buying CR... I also think it means that people are sick of seeing and hearing from Carrie. She's oversaturated in the media with everything from magazines and appearances and tabloid stories to two commercials on television these days. Also I think Last Name is an obvious rip off of BHC and people aren't stupid enough to fall for it which is why that song, even though it went to #1, didn't do shit for her sales. JAD might help but it might not... a lot of people are very anti-war right now so a song reminding them that we're at war could end up hurting her in the long run. nice margin fuck tiger.. dumbass

JAD- is their last attempt at some sales. Plus with Taylor coming out with a new album -- they don't want to be in the way..

Then again it all depends on your settings which appear to be set way up there or with a nice size monitor I remember when the wallpaper size was 800x600 for most people

It's kind of odd cuz the singles from CR have burned out very quickly compared to the songs off SH..... I mean the album has only been out since October and she's already getting ready to drop single #4 and yet she's still not even at 2.2 million in sales. That certainly doesn't bode well for the life of this CD. It won't last on the charts the way SH did that's for sure. I actually like FOTF if I don't listen to the lyrics. If I listen to the lyrics I hate it because it's a song about weakness and surrender. It is the exact opposite of a song like Gunpowder and Lead by Miranda which is all about taking control. I do agree that many of Carrie's songs are out of character for her... like she's playing dress up in someone else's musical indentity. The songs, while sung brilliantly, don't ring true coming from someone like Carrie which makes it difficult to get into the song and appreciate because you're left feeling like you just watched a stand-in do a song that if done by a real artist would've blown you away.

I believe Taylor is starting to become overexposed (moreso than Carrie was during the SH era), and while it's great for her sales now, I think it's possible the public will start to become sick of her after a while (if not already). Sales aren't everything in a career.
