Come on maddx, "Undo It" was partly formed in Kara's pea sized brain. How good can it really be?

she really could not, well, THEY could not release a 3rd ballad in a row and in the early fall or late summer.
I mean really, JAD and ITYS and then another. She needs something with pep |

Well, it was a crappy season overall, so crowning a crappy winner is very fitting. <3 :)Oh come on, the season wasn't that bad (at least compared to OzI6) and Hayley is far from crappy. I mean that fat squirrel pig Stan is the favourite to win, do you really want that? Hayley is love, she's so talented. Imagine how good she'll be later in life, she's 17 now and she's a friggin' super star. Born with talent <3 maddx, I know, I was reading the list of song's Kara's grubby paws have been all over and it pains me to see all the stuff her tainted moronic brain has been involved with. |

I'm in love with Quitter. It's so fucking cheesy but it's so addicting. Damn you Max Martin and your catchy tunes!!
Sales predictions anyone? 290/300k is what I'm sticking with right now. |

I think it's impossible to predict sales anymore......
She'll do at least on par with everyone else who has been releasing albums and that's all anyone can expect her to do. |

Carrie has 11 songs in the top 100 (CC and UI twice though).
CC is at 31 and 76, so this would be about 20 maybe? |

Carnival Ride was so much better than this crap. It seems so unCarrieish. :\ I like Undo It and Songs Like This. Hopefully it will get better after a few
listens but I am not feelin' it right now.

HDD's prediction is based off one Best Buy in Illinois though. huge margin of error. I'm hoping she can crank up to 400kish, but I'd be happy with
anything about 300k.

I'm sad that people aren't liking this CD.
I'm loving it. I can't stop listening to it. My iPod is a must have for my commute every day and I listened to Play On both ways. The only song I just can't get into is "Undo It." I'm in love, love, love with "Change," "Temporary Home," "Someday When I Stop Loving You," "Mama's Song" and "Quitter" especially. I'm hoping for good first week sales too but more so I care about longevity. Not everyone runs out and buys CDs the first week, its more important that people like it and word is good and it continues to sell as people hear singles and they want it.

I think most people do like the album. The ones who dislike it are, from what I see, people who were gonna hate it right from the start. A lot from Pulse act
like they gave it a chance when they never did.
IMO, this album is very strong. The only song that I am not absolutely in love with is Unapologize. The others are all gems and I listen to them nonstop. in FLOVE with Songs Like This. I really want CC to crossover. My *prayer* single release list is: 1. Cowboy Casanova (no way) 2. Someday When I Stop Loving You 3. Change + Idol Gives Back 4. Songs Like This 5. Temporary Home 6. This Time/Look At Me/Quitter ETA - I agree with Longevity for sure. Carrie's albums tend to have very very decent legs. Some Hearts had what, a 20x multiplier? Lol. Carnival Ride seems worse with a 6x multiplier, but that's still insane. Britney's latest is at 3x, Beyonce at 4x, etc. |

Your post is confusing?
What do you mean by no way in reference to Cowboy Casanova, is that not the current single? Also what do you mean by multiplier? |

Lol, "no way" is sarcasm that CC is gonna be the 1st single since it obviously already is.
Multiplier... i dunno if it's used in music, but it's a common box office term which is basically how much more the film makes compared to the first weekend (example first weekend: 50 million, total gross : 150 million = 3x multiplier). Some Hearts debuted with around 300k and is currently around 7 million, so that's around 20x. Carnival Ride was about 525k and is at 3 million, which is almost 6x. And Circus debuted w/ 500k and is at 1.5m, Sasha Fierce debuted with 500k and is at 2m. Don't quote me on Beyonce and Brit numbers because I'm not actually sure on them. :D |
