One problem, isn't the OC going to be on Thursdays at 8 now.
Great another show to compete with. Awww who cares, the people who watch OC probably don't watch Survivor anyways. |

Yes The OC will be going up against Survivor this season at 8pm which I think is idiotic for Fox to do. I love both Survivor and The OC but what do you think I'll be watching come Thursday night?

It's an interesting gamble for Fox. The network has been getting absolutely killed on Thursday nights. I'm sure they don't see 'The OC' as beating 'Survivor' or 'Joey,' but they are gambling that 'The OC' following is strong enough to capture a good share on TV's biggest night. Fox probably is going after former 'Friends' viewers more than 'Survivor' viewers. 'Joey' and 'Will & Grace' are doing well, but are losing handily to 'Survivor' and doing nothing like 'Friends' ratings.
On the other hand, the special going behind the scenes at 'The OC' got absolutely *killed* Thursday night. Finished fifth behind wrestling. |

Actually, it's not much lower. The 11.2 is a household rating, not the number of viewers in millions.

Can we make sure to post the final numbers too? The final numbers for episode two weren't posted, and we're comparing them with the final numbers for episode one. Aren't final numbers almost always higher?

Episode two is a good reason why I think it is important to post final numbers.
These were the original overnight ratings for episode two: Quote: Then, it becomes an 11.7, the same as the premeire. Hey, that 11.2 rating has nowhere to go but up by the time the final numbers come in. |

Episode Two: 11.7/19.0, 19,136,000 million viewers Episode Three: 11.5/18.0, 19,915,000 million viewers This is really great news. Episode three was the 2nd most watched show of the week last week. I was thinking Survivor was falling fast in the ratings, but I guess ratings as a whole are just falling. Also it would be great if it could climb back up to 20 million viewers for episode 4. |
