Tone marks with parenthesis around (N)(P) them means that the character just skewed that certain tone. Notes: Jerri was ALOT more complex than perceived. Of course she was a villain, but she was all about strategy in the same way that Brian was. She got mixes of P and N with her fights with Keith, which imo, made him negative and Jerri mixed neutral. Amber was NOT totally invisible. Of course, she had a very UTR edit, but I ended up likeing her a lot. I've never seen two more positive characters than Liz/Rodger. They're right next to Stephenie/Rupert. Kimmi had a great edit. I loved her. *This is truly a GREAT season.

Also one for Vanuatu. I used the exact same thing as Warrior does now for visibility. I'm prepared for answering questions. Twila and Rory are not N overall? Angry Rory and Twila the goat were both negative overall. Matt CPP overall? Yikes ! He lost the final vote 6 to 1. CPP players do not lose the final vote 6-1. Christy OTTP overall is questionable at best. And you gave RobC eight negatives during the season? Wow, you must hate his friggin' guts. Robb not OTTN? Another keystroke error, obviously. Shii Ann was not P overall. Penny gets 7 neutrals and 3 Ns and you give her N overall? I missed half of Marquesas, so I only have two questions. Kathy CPPP in the finale? Huh? And how was Vee INV in episode six? You didn't give Keith one N the whole season? Wow. You do realize that he was the goat that everyone could beat in F2, right? And Tina was UTRP/MORP overall when Australia was first broadcast. Her CPP rating during the DVD Edgic viewing was clearly influenced by everyone's knowledge that she was the eventual winner.

For instance, Brian H and Rob C. Rob has a total of 7(???) CPNs. Brian H has 5. Wow. But even if that was true, is there anyone here who thinks that overall Rob's edit arc was more negative than Brian's? Brian's edit was really quite telling. He was the relentless lizard jerk king. Unemotional, crafty. In some ways not very complex - you never really understood the guy as a human being, admittedly because lizards are generally considered lacking in human emotion. I always had a hard time giving Brian CP's because although he was strategic there really wasn't much else there. No humanity. If you had an OTS for over the top Strategic player he'd get it. Complexity, though? Not much there. Rob C, OTOH, was IMO eminently likeable. You understood him as a person having an absolute blast playing the game. Fun, funny. There were definitely some N episodes for him,but to rely upon a master final ratings chart to gauge his overall story arc is inaccurate. Even when he was getting N's part of me was still enjoying his presence on the show because he simply enjoyed the process too much. There was a human there.

Posts: 1581 (06/07/07 4:48 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I forgot to mention, The charts for Thailand and Amazon, and to a lesser extent Vanuatu, were done with some aid of the old charts (the ones without visibility numbers). I guess you could say I used the Thailand and Amazon charts to watch and see if the ratings were/were close to what's on them and if not, change them according to what's better suited. (Btw that chart for the Outback, that was posted over a year ago, I've changed it since). And I am debating some of the overall ratings as some were mentioned above (Robb, Shii Ann, Christy)

Their editing of Matt was a killer to the ending. had they edited him as crazy the entire time, it would be different, but Matt was the fan favorite and you know it. Yea, Jenna was a surprise winner, which is what they want, but that surprise is like opening up a present with shit in it... At least that's how I felt at the time. But Jenna is awesome now, so JENNA LOVE! : }

It's just the ratings for Rob agreed with mine more than Shii Ann's. In fact watching Vanuatu through another time, I liked her more than when it originally aired. And that doesn't go for everyone with my personal popularity (Ami, for example, I didn't like any more on the second viewing)

Sometimes I switch between going by the "average" and going purely bye impressions, maybe I'm a hypocrit for doing that, but when I look back, I definitely look at her as a bitch!
