The both have that clean lines aesthetic. I always liked his design's better than Carissa's on Top Design.

Lots of people are and when you consider the germs and fungus that can exist on your feet, so what - leave the lady alone. There was no point in being so blatant about the woman's feelings. Talk about a lack of respect. I don't particularly like Frank's designs but I think he at least tries. If I had to have one of them do a room it would be Edward. I think he has a natural elegance in his rooms and he really tries to give the people a room that they can enjoy.

They help circulate the a/c & it feels much cooler. I couldn't live without them now. The gift cards are so the homeowner can add something to the room or change something they may not like.

Who knew Paige made such a difference? So are most of the swaps this year going to be people with "issues" with each other? I had heard that there will be exes swapping houses, and the one I saw today had two teenage girls that used to be friends but had some kind of falling out. That could be good for the trainwreck aspect of it. I liked Goil a lot too, I loved the chairs he did with the different types of fabric on it, and the green curtains with black fringe over them. Kia is definitely one of the worst. Is she still on?

I was with the homeowner on the WTF are you doing to this room attitude. The girls were friends when they were like 6 and have since gone two different directions. There is nothing the show can do to help that. One seems to be popular, while the other isn't.

I thought his room would be a total disaster but it really looked nice and the awful wallpaper didn't look as awful after the room was done. I loved that fringe as well.

I don't remember him being quite that obnoxious on Top Design. I just watched the one where Hilde stuck the cut up cardboard tubes all over the walls and all I could think was "dear god, she's doing it AGAIN." She's a nut case.

Even I was pissed when they changed the format two years ago, but one thing remains: Homeowners still hate their rooms, and hildi. Liked: Frank, Doug, Geniveve, Edward (his NC drawl brings me to the Race Track), Carter On The Bubble: Hildi, Kia Hated: Amy Wynn, Laurie, Everyone else Post-MPDP. But My favorite Moment was that Fat C**t (and her dumb husband who looked 10 years younger) in Seattle (Season Two) Who had to leave the room because Doug TOUCHED HER PRECIOUS FIREPLACE. If she didn't want her fireplace touched, she should have had another room done, or NOT EVEN APPLIED TO BE ON THE SHOW.

Said it took him a week and 9 trips to the dumpster to tear them all down and throw them out, another week to patch the holes and the another week to repaint. Said nothing of Hildi's design remained. He was rather pissed at the room (no duh). But he was MORE pissed because he said he had the crew cracking up and was very funny but was edited to look like a pussy-whipped dork.

All episode, I kept thinking that the guy (Dov) should get over his ex as she clearly wasn't for him and I thought he deserved better. I mean she dumped you twice already, it's time to move on. If you want your "Mommys" statue in your room, just put it back yourself. And the ex-gf, while hot, needs an guy with more ..energy. So yes, not good together. Was thinking red-haired roomie had a crush on Dov a bit, but also pinged my gaydar. Or maybe she just liked the rent money. Holy shit that is THE GOIL!!!!!!!! ::happydance:: Yes! Not a relaxing 'man' retreat like he had asked for. That statue was ugly as hell and I wouldn't want it in my room either but to each his own, I suppose. I'm not a huge fan of the woman decorator - Lauren? I'm not good with names at any given time let alone all the people on designer TV. The room mate was hugely in love with Dov. Every chance she got to bash the ex she took. Did anyone else notice how little on air time the other female friend had? It was almost as if she was invisible. The girl's room was fabulous. The wallpaper was unique although not for me but the bed design was well done and everything else was really well thought out. That was a room I could easily live with. I thought it funny that the end result is exactly the opposite of what the hoped for outcome would be. He realized that she didn't know or really care about him and she ended up more committed than ever. Weird.

He seemed so disappointed that his ex didn't have any idea what he would like. I hope he has enough sense not to get back together with her. He gave her a second chance & she dumped him again the 2nd time. She's obviously not very trustworthy. He needs to move on already !
